I didn't like that when I got there I had to pay a parking fee and a $100 deposit. (there is a $10 parking fee if you book anywhere but the blu pacific hotel website). I would have liked all of that to be included in the Expedia price. I also had to fill out a form, which delayed my check-in process. But the hotel is clean and close to the aquarium and beach. There are several restaurants within walking distance that are reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

The area is ok... close to our favorite chinese restaurant & easy access to Hwy 1 going to Carmelite Monasterey & Fishermans Wharf ... the room is just right for a couple unwinding for couple days... :)

Overpriced and uncomfortable

Room comfort was so so. The sitting chair was old and looked very dingy, uncomfortable to sit in. Room layout small and was hard to watch tv unless laying on the bed. They spray their rooms with an obnoxious scent that gave me headaches while in the room. The pillows on the bed were flat and difficult to make comfortable. Won’t stay here again as I felt it was over priced for what the room offered.

The noise from the planes were very scary and horrible or noise insolation in the room. The air conditioning system was extremely loud, as well. Considering all the above it was simply impossible to sleep there. Extremely uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Refrigerator worked as freezer only, and froze all food, I had to throw away most of it, particularly vegetables and fruits. They even didn’t offer a hair conditioner and had very poor quality shampoo and liquid body soap. Just a tiny piece of hand soap. Would avoid this and surrounding places at any cost. Really a horror stay, I think it is totally inappropriate place for hotel.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was, small but had tv, microwave, coffee, and fridge. The remote for the tv didn't work and there were VERY low flying planes flying over the hotel.
