 Our swimming pool is 8.4m long by 4.20m wide and 1.50m deep. There is double security for children: an electric shutter and a barrier all around.
The swimming pool is heated for the cooler periods of spring or autumn.

Neat decoration, all comfort. Ideal for children and toddlers as well as for people looking for calm and rest. Large grassy areas allowing total and peaceful relaxation.

Fantastic property with pool in rural france

2 families with young children had a great time. Helen and Henri love next door and we're really helpful organising a wine tour. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Villa

Henri and Helens villa is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need is available. The outside kitchen and dinning area is wonderful. We can’t fault the villa itself. Helen was helpful, kind and welcoming throughout our two week stay. We made a request for a piece of disability equipment and Helen organised the hiring of this for us and it was ready on arrival. The swimming pool is heated and was a welcome retreat from the very hot weather! We had a few issues with the gates - but Helen and Henri were helpful and responsive. The only downside for us is the location. If you enjoy a secluded, quiet and isolated spot then this is the place for you! We prefer exploring and having things within walking distance. But that’s personal preference. Overall a wonderful break with kind owners who seem to genuinely want you to have the best stay possible.

Calm oasis

Helen and Henri were the perfect hosts, superb property with everything we needed, and spotlessly clean. Great access to all the local attractions, but tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood that is the perfect spot to relax and cool down after a blisteringly hot day’s exploring.

A perfect autumn break.

The property is just perfect for a quiet break at any time of the year. We were there in early autumn (mid October) and made use of the pool on many of the warm afternoons. The outside terrace and kitchen area were perfect for evening BBQs under the lights ... although we often moved inside for late drinks and coffee as the night became cooler. The owners, Henri and Helen, were perfect hosts: friendly and informative, but without being intrusive. Henri fixed our bikes and gave some great advice on the local areas, Helen helped us with ideas on restaurants, local sights, shopping, culture, etc. She also introduced us in to her amazing works of art and sculpture. If you want to experience the autumn delights of rural Languedoc, then this is a great property and location: easy access to the countryside, the coast, the towns and cities. We bought figs and chestnuts at markets, we ate local cheeses and charcuterie, we drank the wines from St Chinian and Minerve, we ate in some fantastic restaurants ,,, and went home relaxed and overweight! We plan to return.

Lovely outdoor kitchen and very clean property

We loved our stay in the house of Henri and Helen. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with 2 newly renovated bathrooms. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen with the plancha and the separate fridge. We lived mostly outdoors. The owners live on the same property but we stayed in total privacy in our house with the private pool. Due to Covid there is an extra cost for the cleaning that isn't mentioned on the site of VRBO but the house was indeed very clean. We got a lot of good tips for restaurants and visits in the surroundings from Helen and Henri. We would definitely book this house again and recommend it to other family's.

Super house and pool. Super maison avec piscine.

A lovely house and very friendly hosts, perfect for families. The pool is warm and clean, but the best part is the amazing outside living/cooking area! 30 mins from lovely beaches, but in a relaxing neighbourhood. A wonderful holiday Une belle maison et les propriétaires sont très agréables, parfait pour les familles. Le piscine est chaud et propre, et le mieux est le coin exterior! Seulement 30 min de les plages mais dans un coin très calme. Des vacances super!

Lovely detached house with excellent outdoor eating area and pool

Nice detached house in the grounds of the owners property. Great outside eating area with sink, fridge freezer and bbq. Fruit trees growing all around and we were given delicious fresh figs to eat. In a suburban area but easy to walk to aldi and great patisserie with fantastic cakes. Owners are very kind and brought us jam and some lovely flowers for my mum's birthday.

Très bon séjour à Montady, maison entièrement climatisée (sauf une chambre), très bien équipée, belle piscine très propre, on a bien profité de l'espace extérieur (cuisine, plancha, table pour 8 pers, transats et salon de jardin, espace pelouse) top avec le brumisateur ! Enfants et parents ravis

Le jardin avec sa cuisine d’été et sa piscine chauffée sans vis à vis est exceptionnel. S’y trouvent plancha, ventilo, frigo, douche, toilette, brumisateur au plafond….nous avons passé la semaine dehors . Nous avons apprécié la Clim et la literie pour le couchage. Une semaine au top!

Helen et Henri sont des hôtes attentionnés, très agréables et à l’écoute. La maison était idéale pour nous avec tout le confort et équipements souhaités, des douches à l’italienne idéales pour notre fille handicapée et une grande cuisine. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la cuisine d’été abritée et la piscine suffisamment grande pour profiter pleinement de la baignade (et plus chaude que la mer ). Séjour très agréable

Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui sont adorables, très accueillants et à l'écoute de leurs locataires et très réactifs à leurs demandes. La maison est de plein pieds ce qui a été très appréciable avec un enfant de 1 an. L'extérieur est très agréable, fleuri et bien aménagé avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se poser (et se reposer) et profiter en famille (ou entre amis) : piscine, plancha, cuisine extérieure... et au calme !!! Séjour à recommander !

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Frankreich. Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern dort. Die Unterkunft bietet reichlich Platz für alle Gäste. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel. Die Küche ist sehr modern, das Bad auch. Der Aussenbereich mit Pool und überdachtem Terrasse waren sehr schön. Das Poolwasser war immer sauber und sehr weich. Ohne Choor perfekt aufbereitet. Wir machen gerne nochmal dort einen Urlaub.

Une belle parenthèse

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine en avril, malgré le temps qui n'était pas au beau fixe. La maison est bien équipée, très propre, au calme, proche des commodités. La piscine est bien chauffée (28 degrés) même en ce mois frais et venteux. La terrasse couverte est un gros plus. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles tout en discrétion. Nous les remercions pour ce séjour !

Villa très agréable dans un beau cadre

Une semaine de vacances avec enfants et petits-enfants : chacun y trouve sa place, quelques soient les âges ! Helen et Henri sont très accueillants, bienveillants et discrets. La villa est très bien équipée et nous avons surtout bien apprécié la cuisine d’été près de la piscine : lieu convivial où toute la famille se retrouve pour les repas, les jeux, les discussions … Si nous avons l’occasion, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !!

We verbleven in een zeer aangename woning voorzien van airco, behalve op 1 kamer, 1 kamer had een zeer smal bed voor 2 volwassenen. 2 ruime badkamers. Iets meer bestek en grote pannen om te kunnen koken voor 8 personen was handig geweest. Het zwembad was aangenaam en werd verzorgd. De eigenaars wonen op hetzelfde domein maar zijn zeer discreet en makkelijk aanspreekbaar. Ze helpen daar waar nodig! De plancha is een zeer grote meerwaarde. Er zijn 2 grote ijskasten en 2 diepvriezen voorzien, zeer welkom bij de temperaturen die we hadden. Kortom: aanrader!

Tolles Haus!

Wir haben 14 sehr schöne Urlaubstage in dem wunderbaren Ferienhaus von Helen und Henry verbracht. Sowohl das Haus als auch das Außengelände sind top-gepflegt! Die Ausstattung, wie zum Beispiel Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser und Kochutensilien ist sehr üppig. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und nicht gechlort, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Sehr toll ist die große überdachte Terrasse mit Außenküche und Kühlschrank. Was für ein Luxus. Der Wohn- und Schlafbereich ist bis auf ein Schlafzimmer komplett mit sehr gut funktionierenden Klimaanlagen ausgestattet, was wir bei den hohen Außentemperaturen temporär gerne genutzt haben. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls auf dem sehr großen Grundstück. Man bekommt von ihnen nichts mit, aber, wenn man eine kurze SMS schreibt, haben sie sofort reagiert und Fragen beantwortet oder Wünsch erfüllt. Sehr schön fanden wir auch, dass es pro Gast drei Handtücher und Bettwäsche von Haus gab. Das hat unseren Kofferraum doch stark entlastet. Waschmaschine ist ebenfalls vorhanden und funktioniert gut. Zum Haus werden kostenfrei jeweils zwei Erwachsenen- und zwei Kinder-Fahhräder angeboten. Der Ort Montady bietet keine großen Attraktionen. Es gibt aber Supermärkte, Bäcker, Metzger und in unmittelbarer Nähe einen sehr guten Käse-Laden. Mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad ist man schnell an interessanten Orten wie Bezier oder dem Kanal Midi. Zu den Stränden fährt man ca. 25 Minuten. Die Vermieter haben umfangreiches Infomaterial in Französisch und Englisch zur Verfügung gestell

Very nice house

Very nice house with a perfect outdoor kitchen and a heated swimming pool. Nice bedrooms witch airco. The house has all the facilities you need. If you need anything you can always ask the owners who are close but only shows there faces when you ask for them. They respect you privacy. We had a very nice stay!
