Room was clean and well appointed. Furniture and decor was modern and updated. Breakfast was amazing with full buffet of hot items. The only downfall was the McDonalds drive thru line that made getting in and out of the parking lot difficult. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Our check-in was the worst part. The manager, Sandra, was at the desk. I had done pre-check in and should have just had to get keys. She told me I needed to wait so she could look into something, then helped the next 2 couples in line. She gave our room away (a large suite, as we had 6 people) to the couple behind me. Then, when I returned to the desk, she had to call the couple back for them to change rooms. She couldn't keep "Dave" and myself, Christy, straight for anything! Suites could use potholders, as we did use the oven. Had to use towel for potholders. And dish towels to dry dishes with. Some of the cupboards were falling apart, and poor installation. Bathroom fan/light cover was missing. The mattress on the pull out couch was not good. But the woman who assisted us with breakfast this morning was very pleasant and helpful!

The front desk staff were very welcoming and kind. Over the course of my stay, I interacted with three different front desk staff and they all went out of their way to be helpful and attentive.

3 pegs on a wall to hang clothes. No closet, no hangers. Just large pegs. Heater was a wall unit registering 80dB at 2.5 feet (very loud) that circulated air every 10 minutes for 10-15 seconds, whether it heated or not. As it cycled, couldn’t hear the TV. That married with the train horns sounding all time of day and night behind the hotel. (They do provide complimentary ear plugs) You have to leave to inn and walk down to an adjoining deli for an overcooked breakfast. And if you park by the office, you back into the approach for the neighboring McDonalds.

The update is really nice. Love the location for all things at UM. Staff was super nice even though it was crazy busy! Only downside was the pillows. As pretty as they looked on the bed they are so hard!!! Would stay there again!

The room was very smelly- I bought Lysol and Fabree to freshen upholstery and curtains in Living room and bedroom. No elevator and my room was on second floor- Jay who manned the front desk was super in offering to help maneuver my 4 pieces of luggage- he was the only 5star part of the stay. No closet or hangers just hooks which is not great when you are traveling with business attire and no place to hang up. No towel bars. First hotel that has made me cry. Awful, curb appeal sucks- a precursor to the room. When I booked, hotel shuttle was part of amenities but they had discontinued shuttle service.

It was okay, very disappointed I wanted the suite with the jetted tub that was pictured in the room I selected. Got to the hotel find out that even tho it’s pictured, it’s not in that room? Would have just got a regular room at that point. With it being homecoming weekend there was no other option but to keep that room. Just not what we were wanting room wise.
