Multi-Generation Family Vacation

Our extended family rented multiple house in this gated community. This was perfect as it allowed us to bring our family dog with us. The patio was very welcoming and enjoyed sitting outside. The single level was perfect. The heated pool was nice for the younger one and the closest pool for sunbathing! Will consider renting again.

Very nice winter break from Northern cold

Home was clean, attractive and well-located. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils and there was even a small selection of spices for cooking. The community is attractive and management was very responsive to several issues early in our stay. Our six-day stay was the perfect escape.

Fantastic thanksgiving stay

Clean, quiet, fun, beautifully decorated home. Very close to the beach, 2 pools nearby also. I had a small issue with the car gate code when I arrived (it was 11pm) so I called the host hoping for the best. They answered promptly and gave me a quick resolution. All in all a great stay.

Our multi generational family of 6 had a great stay for a week here. The tram to the beach was nice to have and the beach was gorgeous! the home was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. We hope to come back again!

Had a great experience staying here! The house was clean and comfortable and was located in a great little community. The tram to the beach was a plus for us when hauling all of our beach gear and the tram drivers were very courteous. The property manager was attentive and addressed issues quickly. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed the property. Only down side was the master rooms ceiling fan does not work properly and was extremely loud. So if you need a fan to sleep, maybe bring one with you. We also could never get the WiFi to work the four days we were there but we out at the beach most of the time. Overall wonderful stay!

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was a great location. The home was clean and well stocked. The only confusing part was obtaining the wrist bands. Some were left in the home (red ones) are the wrong color to wear. We stopped by the location given in the emailed instructions and they weren't open for the season. The guy on the beach wanted us to pay for the correct wrist bands. Good thing i read the detailed instructions in the email to not pay them. I got them on the phone and they spoke to him directly. The situation was cleared up right away and he gave us the correct bands to wear. The was our first time in Destin and would definitely stay again!

One of our best vacations!

Absolutely loved this property! We stayed for spring break with our 20 year old and 14 year old. It was a short 10 minute walk through the neighborhood to get to the beach. You’re close to grocery stores and lots of restaurant options. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Snowbird Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at 35 Opal Cove. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Very comfortable for my friend and me for our 6 week stay. We had room for some overnight visits from my granddaughters and friends. Love Emerald Shores neighborhood

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our stay with our small kiddos. The house felt very spacious even with our family of 7! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great hang out areas and we even enjoyed the games and puzzles. My only complaint about the property is that it’s definitely not a 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s every bit of a 15-20 minute walk. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to know beforehand. We ended up just driving to the public beach access since there’s no parking by the private one and they don’t allow bringing your own canopy’s. Overall loved it!

Although the week was off and on rain, we stayed busy doing puzzles in the home. It was nice to be able to walk to the pool. We were confused about the armbands. Better directions on where to acquire them should be given.

Really a Great Place!!

I rarely leave a review but upon arrival I knew I had to. This is really my favorite VRBO property ever visited. It was very clean and so well decorated. It had absolutely everything we needed and then some. We cook a lot on vacation and this house had even the most unusual things handy (like skewers and an InstaPot). There was plenty of space and lots of beach items available; also games and puzzles galore! The location was convenient - a short walk to beach and only like 3-4 houses separates you from one of the pools - easy access yet not close enough to hear the pool noise. The beach tram was easy to catch and the driver was great. Close to everything you need and the beach is gorgeous. We will stay here again if our travels ever take us back to Destin/Mirmar beach. And we will choose this area/house once we are able to plan our vacations around something other than travel ball. You will not regret choosing this property!

Great place!

We loved the house! It had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach. We also took the shuttle service which was great. Everything was really clean. We’d stay here again for sure!
