My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for the week. The grandkids loved playing ping pong and pool in the garage and the entire family spent time together roasting marshmallows and making s’mores around the outside fire pit. The hot tub was an added bonus to a beautiful property. Sarah

Had a great week!

The location is perfect with privacy, shaded views of the lake from the deck in the morning, a spacious fire pit area overlooking the lake, as well as a great fishing spot off the dock and along the water’s edge! We had s’mores and an outdoor movie night by the fire, which was magical! The kayaks were also a big hit with everyone! The house had plenty of space for our family of 11 to spread out! The indoor video games were a nice evening activity in the lower level of the home. We were a bit disappointed that the dart board was not there even though it was pictured and a previous post said it had been replaced, but there were plenty of other things to do. We enjoyed early morning hot tub soaks and watching the fish jump and the squirrels play over our morning coffee. The large game room was a converted garage complete with pool, foosball, and ping pong tables, which were all in great shape. We would have been able to use them more if the A/C was working in that area, but we could never get the thermostat to work to cool it down despite reaching out to the manager about it, so it was quite hot in there! The laundry room had a great washer/dryer, and the grills were in the perfect location on the front deck close to the kitchen. The kitchen layout was perfect for cooking with several people at once, and the walk in pantry was so convenient! The front yard was huge! Overall, we were very happy with the property and had a great week! We would definitely recommend it!!

Beautiful property. Good layout. But...

The property was beautiful. The lake views were amazing and the layout of the bedrooms was nice. BUT....when we went to use the kitchen items, dishes, pots, casserole dishes and knives were filthy and put away that way. They were disgusting and we had to rewash everything by hand and in the dishwasher. One of the bedspreads had white smear on it. The downstairs toilet had an issue where it kept running. When we called the property manager to inform them of the situation, they sent someone who said they fixed it but didn't. For the price, these issues should not be an issue. Again, it is a gorgeous property, just needs to be a bit more elevated.

we had a group of 14. We've rented houses for many years in many places, and this was the best house we've ever stayed at. super amenities and extras. If we can all figure out our timing, we will definitely be back

Not 100% forthright

We left a review in May after our stay. It is still not posted on here. We are posting another. We are not going to draw this one out but more so, just add the direct issues. Game room didnt have dart board. We weren't told beforehand. It was a giant machine moved out of the home. Someone could have let the renters know. Part of the games were a selling point. We brought our darts. Didn't happen. Life jackets. Only 1 was on site. We asked for 3 more. We were told they would drop off more the next day. No show. The whole time we were there, nothing was brought. No more Texts. No one showed up. Beautiful home but spiders EVERYWHERE. Not just outside (nature - cant help that, esp via the area) but inside, that's a problem. They shouldn't be all over IN the home. The STEEP hill to get to the dock is not mentioned as a "steep" hill. We had a family member who couldnt go down & enjoy the dock as the hill was far too steep. No steps, no railing to help assist. If you are older (or younger) with any type of hip, knee or leg issue, this is not an easy thing for you, via this property. *IMPORTANT* We had text conversations with the site manager before even thinking of going into any water. It's not listed on the rental page & nothing in any correspondence to the renters but there IS a 6 year+ issue with bacteria in the water at Lake Anna! I can't add more here, its limited! Look up cyanobacteria in Lake Anna water BEFORE renting! ✔️info @ VDH, LACA & LAAC. This is ongoing.

We enjoy our stay very much and loved the house! We would definitely recommend and stay here again. We only had a small issue or two and the property management was in touch with us.
