Wonderful home and area

Really great home. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room. Next to the watercraft and bocce rentals which is convenient though it means others walk by which didn’t bother us. Nice to have multiple places to hang out indoors and outdoors. Liked that there were a lot of bathrooms for our five families. Did feel a little cramped at times but nothing we couldn’t handle. Even though it was a little cold outside we had an amazing time. Love this little neighborhood and would definitely come back again.

Wedding weekend

This property was perfect for our family! We were attending a destination wedding where LOTS of family flew in. This home was fantastic with lots of room for everyone. We had one day where family with children came to play at the lake and neighborhood pool. The home was just as described and the location better than expected. The host was very prompt to respond to questions. We would very highly recommend this property.

Family Getaway

We had 7 adults and 4 kids, ages 2-4.5, and the house was great for everyone! As a parent of toddlers, we appreciated all of the “kid” stuff the house had to offer: pack & play, toys, gates, step stools! The area is really cute and we’d definitely come back! James was really responsive and easy to communicate with!

Perfect Spot to “Take it Easy”

Being a native of NC and growing up with NC beaches I didn’t expect Lake Michigan to have a wow factor. I was completely wrong and what made everything perfect was our home away from home Take it Easy. Spacious house, well stocked, first class service, and its location never left us entertainment. Fishing, kayaking, paddle boats, fire pit, and so much more all at your fingertips. The walk to Lake Michigan to see the Sunset was 5 minutes.

Nice place

We have stayed in the Beachwalk area many times and love the location and ammenities. We did have some issues with this house (dishwasher broke mid way through our stay) and the house manager was prompt to respond but didn’t fix the problem. There were also lots of “workers” who would show up which was a little disruptive. Overall nice place.

Wonderful property and property manager!!

The home was exactly as described. Even better in person that it looked on the listing!! There were a couple of minor issues that I communicated to Danielle and she was very quick to respond - all was worked out quickly. We are hoping to stay again next year. This is the third house we've had at Beachwalk and the family consensus is that it is the best one yet!!

The Perfect Spot!

Our family of 11 fit very well into this home located in the most ideal location in all of Beachwalk! We had back door access to everything on Lake Kai, as well as the shuffleboard and bocce ball courts! The house had all the essentials we needed and more! We enjoyed the screened in porch and the wonderful kid-friendly basement. Clear communication with the property manager was much appreciated. We'd love to come back again!!

Perfect location and home for family reunion!

Our stay here was just amazing! We had a group of 11, including children ranging in age from 1 to 12 years. Sleeping arrangements were perfect, and there was something for everyone to do, from shuffleboard and kayak rental next door, to the park less than a 2 min walk away, to the gorgeous Lake Michigan beach. Children of all ages were easily entertained and happy, and adults could relax and vacation easily as well. Gatherings around the fire pit were a hit, and the outdoor seating allowed everyone to eat dinner together nightly. Danielle was a lovely and responsive host, and the house itself was comfortable, clean, and lovely. We have stayed in many homes in Beachwalk over the years, and this one by far fit our family and all the different ages and interests best! We cannot wait to come back for our next family reunion!!

Great family vacation home

Our group of 10 really enjoyed the property and all of the Beachwalk amenities. Less than 10 minutes stroll to lake Michigan beach. Heated community pool was great, especially in early season when Lake Michigan was a little chilly. Meals on the screened in porch off the kitchen were just fabulous with the view of lake Kai. Hot tub was great. Fire pit was a fun spot as well. Parking was easy with space for 4 vehicles at house and an additional overflow lot less than 2 minute walk from front door. Owner was very helpful in check in process and resolving the most minor of issues. Communication was fantastic. We look forward to returning.

The home itself was in a perfect location and we loved the enclosed patio. It was well stocked for a family of 13. The home needs some repairs etc: bedroom fan, stove fan, stove light, regulating shower water temperature. We also loved the little town setting.

New year getaway

We had a great time at the house! Very spacious but there is not enough space for dining inside the house, we had to arrange the table. But everything else was nice. We had a room for everyone. The kitchen is equipped with everything that we need. Perfect getaway not far from Chicago! Thank you!

Beautiful Property

My family and I rented this lovely property to celebrate the holidays. It is very spacious and was able to accommodate our large group. The owner was very easy to work with and even allowed us to check in early. Although we stayed during the winter, the amenities were perfect for summer, so we plan on rented again when the temps are a bit warmer.

Perfect Family Trip

Our stay at "Take It Easy" couldn't have been any better. The house had great spaces for everyone to come together but also to spread out when needed. The house is well stocked and had everything you would need to make a meal. We enjoyed the various outdoor spaces and loved having coffee in the morning on the upper deck, meals in the screened porch and fires outside at night! The location of the property is great as it doesn't feel too crowded but you can easily walk to the beach and the other amenities Beachwalk has to offer. And the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. Our only complaint is that we should have stayed longer! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Fantastic week

The property is fantastic. Multiple living areas so there are spaces to be together and apart. Multiple patio and deck areas and private beach area was enjoyed by all ages.Bathrooms are beautiful. Location location location - house is next to bocci ball and kayaks yet amazingly quiet. The huge screened in porch was our favorite gathering place. Great family vacation.

Wonderful :)

The area is perfect for families with a wide age range of people to entertain. The house is clean, comfortable and spacious and really comfortably fit our large group. You look out the window onto a beautiful peaceful lake… if the kids had let me sit still I’d have stayed on that porch with a glass of wine all day :). Our host Danielle went above and beyond and was super lovely in general. A lot of little touches to make the stay extra special!
