A wood frame home graced with windows on every wall and lovely natural lighting, original pine flooring and a spacious front porch. We enjoyed our stay at the Palmerto Cottage. It was a cozy little cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed. The only trouble we had was getting the Televisions to work in both bedrooms. There was a large selection of DVDs to choose from, It would also have been nice to have a throw blanket on the sofa. We would stay there again if we were to return to Micanopy.

This is a lovely cottage in "Old Florida". It sits amongst old oak trees and palmettos laden with moss, just beautiful. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the hosts were wonderful. It was a wonderful stay.

This private bungalow is cozy yet spacious, and conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville--with everything you need for a quick getaway or quiet retreat. Owners were responsive and welcoming. Super friendly locals. Be aware that some of the surrounding shops and restaurants tend to be closed early in the week (eg Mon-Wed), limiting your options.

Tucked away south of Micanopy

We stayed in the cottage while attending a UF graduation. It was a pleasure staying away from the congestion of G'ville. Instead, we enjoyed a beautiful drive via 441 right into town, about 15 minutes away. The mattresses were pretty soft - a 2 night max for me, thus the 4 stars. But the cottage was comfortable, we loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the breeze & the scent of jasmine. The location didn't lend itself to taking walks, but there are nearby options for that.

Quaint Cottage

Very peaceful, relaxing setting. We used it as a hub to travel to nearby towns and springs. We did need to call the host because we could not get the tv's to work. They did respond and resolve it right away. The only thing that needs attention is that the locks on the jack and jill bathroom do not work.

Not the city

Nice little cottage. beds were comfortable and the place is immaculate. the landscaping is a bit out of control as vines and bushes were intruding on the back porch. All in all this place is a great value.
