Ok property away from everything. Does not have good customer services. Don’t have a manager present or on call. No ice makers. Laundry room inop. They offer hot coffe but no cups or creamer for it. I did like the fact that I was able to receive mail and packages.

This hotel is fine for a short stay. It was decently clean and even comes with full kitchen. The problem is that the mattress is the hardest, most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. Could not get comfortable and sleep at night. The other issue is the parking garage. Anyone can walk into the open air parking garage and follow the hallways up inside the hotel and up to guest rooms.. there is nothing restricted with room card key or anything.

I immediately noticed the unclean kitchen floors, a detail that sets a rather unsavory tone for any stay. Furthermore, the microwave was in a state that suggested it hadn't been properly cleaned in… well, let's just say a significant amount of time. And the less said about the bathroom shower curtain, the better. It was frankly disgusting. I did, in fact, bring these issues to the attention of your staff. While I acknowledge that the shower curtain was eventually replaced, the fact that it was in such a state in the first place speaks volumes about your property's maintenance and attention to detail. The problems, however, did not end there. On the second day of my stay, I was faced with the complete and utter lack of hot water. This meant I was unable to shower before having to leave for the day. This is a fundamental amenity, and its absence rendered my stay even more inconvenient and frankly, uncomfortable. Beyond these specific incidents, the overall condition of the property was frankly poorly maintained. The furniture appeared dated and worn, in desperate need of replacement. The general cleanliness was subpar at best. Areas that are often overlooked, such as the spaces between bed frames, were clearly in need of deep cleaning. And the shower itself was riddled with mildew, a clear indication of a lack of proper and regular cleaning. The photographs and descriptions provided online bear absolutely no resemblance to the actual condition of the accommodation.

A lot of construction going on outside, and the walls are thin, so you can hear pretty much anything going on outside/next door. But other than that the stay was nice, clean, good parking and friendly staff

Our room was clean. Needs some updating. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. We had no hot water one of the mornings and were told the hot water heater was broken and was being repaired. Not worth the money spent but staff was friendly and professional and felt safe.

South River Suites review

I recently stayed at South River Suites, and my experience was a mix of pros and cons. The suite itself was spacious, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. While the surfaces appeared wiped down, there were small details that made it feel only semi-clean. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely could have been better. The biggest issue for me was the mattress. It was extremely firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. If you prefer a soft or even medium-firm bed, this might not be the place for you. I woke up feeling stiff, which isn’t ideal when traveling. On the positive side, the hotel had friendly staff, in a decent location. However, if comfort and spotless cleanliness are top priorities, you might want to consider other options.

When I entered the room around 11:00 PM, there was a very strong smell of paint. I called to request a room change, but I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. They also told me that the smell was due to painting maintenance done that same day. They offered me a refund, but at 11:00 PM, while traveling with a minor, where was I supposed to find another hotel? I decided to stay, but we slept and woke up feeling very unwell because of the paint smell.
