Secluded Property
The property was nice, but the check-in process was hectic on the first day of our trip. If you are planning to stay for more than a couple of days be sure to bring games. They have a great table for playing games. If your going to do laundry make sure to bring laundry detergent. Also, the washer will keep going if you let it so make sure to stop it after one cycle or it will take a while to get your laundry done. The oven doesn't work so you want be able to use it to cook anything, but they where able to get the burners in between our stays. Overall, we enjoyed the property.

Wouldn’t stay again
I will start by saying the the pictures do resemble the listing, however, there could be improvements to this place: 1. Upon checking in our parking spots under the carport were already taken. I tried contacting the owner immediately and never heard from him throughout our entire duration. I messaged through the app, left a voicemail, and sent a text message. Nothing back. 2. The lights of the property were on and all the shades were up so with the cars there we were nervous someone was inside or it was double booked, turned out no one else there. 3. There was also no hot water so we only had cold showers. My friend had to boil water to bathe. 4. We each had one bath towel but there were no hand towels for washing hands and literally 1 wash cloth in each bathroom for 6 guests. 5. Listing stated hair dryer in each bathroom, no hair dryers. 6. One of the bedrooms lacked a blanket on the bed and only had a fitted and flat sheet. 7. Saturday morning at 7:30am we were woken up to the people that parked on our spots. They were staying in a VRBO on the other side of the property so I’m not sure if the owner manages that also? Seems weird they thought it was ok to park there on their own considering you had to manually open the gate to the entrance. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Horrible Communication, Lack of Cleanliness
When we booked the house we were excited because the location seemed safe and fit our family needs. We were disappointed from the second we walked in the door, though. The house looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The linens on the beds were stained and had dust and hair on them. The “fully stocked” kitchen was anything but that. There was one towel per person and some of those were stained as well. The first morning we had to take cold showers because the hot water heater wasn’t working. No communication was returned from the owner so we had to take matters into our own hands and change the fuse on the water heater. Thank goodness we had someone in our party that knew how to do this. The connected neighbors were a problem with noise throughout the night, too. The communication with the owner continued to be a big issue as well, as we have still not heard anything from them a week later at the time of this review. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and good communication.

Mostly good but...
The property itself was as advertised. Washing machine takes 5 hours to wash one load. The dryer ran all night. We discovered there wasn't any hot water on the first day as all 6 of us needed showers. Avised contact person. Were advised someone would come to fix. Minimal communication over the next 24 hours and still no hot water. Around 9PM of the second day contact person said they'd pay for hotel room for that night so we could shower. Some family had already gone to bed and others weren't able to make that transition (elderly with mobility issues). Finally on the 3rd day of our stay someone came and fixed the water heater problem. Contact person stated a partial refund would be given for the massive inconvenience however it's been two weeks since our visit and no refund has occurred.

Would stay again
Got lost trying to find initially. Called and owner stayed on phone with us til we found it. Place was large and very clean and comfortable. In a great neighborhood also. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great location. House solid 3.
Partially renovated FL home in great location in South Miami near UM. Corner home with some traffic but not too bad at all. Very comfy beds, bedrooms need end tables and lamps (only ceiling lights throughout house). Kitchen cabinets and appliances all new but oven didn’t work (had to cancel Xmas dinner and scramble for reservations) and not fully appointed: silverware missing (3 forks total!), no oven ware, not great cookware, and one cup drip coffee maker….when house sleeps 8. Living room has a large trundle bed. No chairs or coffee table. This opens into two twins making the place able to sleep two more guests. Not comfortable for us but perhaps very tall guests would be better served. The dining area of the kitchen is the gathering place and could accommodate 8. The chairs a cute, funky! But plastic. Holiday weekend so when plumbing backed up, we were out of the house the whole day waiting for plumber and repair but it was done. Hosts not responsive enough…holiday weekend so tough ón everywhere but IMHO if you do not have staff working, you shouldn’t rent the house. Lastly, this is a nice large property on a corner, fully fenced. There is a gated driveway so the gate has to be manually opened and closed. A little annoying, but nice to feel more secure. Until you realize that someone or some thing is in the back room of the house. There is a car parked and a window air unit that runs the whole time. We did not investigate, but it was a little creepy.
