Nice place to relax; could be a real gem
We enjoyed our stay at this property and overall we recommend it. We have a few hesitations and suggestions to improve it: the floors need a thorough scrubbing. Although they did not look particularly dirty due to their neutral color, our feet got dirty quickly when we walked around without shoes.The backyard is quite nice but could be truly lovely: 1. the cushions on the outdoor furniture are moldy; they need replacing with waterproof cushions OR the umbrella over that sitting area needs to be larger or replaced with some other type of outdoor roofing/covering. 2. A screen to hide the unsightly items on the patio (old exercise equipment, paint cans, etc.) or a full clean out of that area would help a lot. Finally lamps in the bedrooms and in the living room would make the place much homier and allow guests to sit and read, which we love to do, especially on vacation.Final note: The access to the front door works great once you get the correct app downloaded and figure out how to use it, Unfortunately, that took us quite a while.If possible, we would give this place a 4 1/2 star rating. 4 seems too low but this place does not quite reach a 5.
