Pre-stay, technical issues abounded. Reservation wasn't on VRBO, only able to communicate with host intermittently. Host waited until last minute to provide check-in details even though the stay was prepaid months b4! Further, Expedia provided poor customer support. Dire need to assuage customer unfamiliar with VRBO & the area. Finally received an unsigned text from a GA phone number associated with a business there while en route to property that I was hoping was legit & hoping to get the code to get in. One should not be sweating bullets! I took a chance in replying to the text, and fortunately it wasn't a shady character, but the host, who again did not sign the text. No "I hope you enjoy your stay" or "Thank you for choosing my/our VRBO property": such courtesies are far and few these days. The first night, had upstairs renters with a lot of pacing. Fortunately, they went to sleep at 10:30 and left the next day, with no replacement.
On the plus side, nice and modern unit. One GFCI plug was off-kilter (kitchen). Few outlets, 2 USB: suggest bringing a multiplex. No table lamp. Used microwave's night light initially, later found switch 4 just kitchen lights. Suggest labeling disposal switch, too. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. The counter inside the unit is very convenient for laying out one's things for the next day. TV and streaming options. Pool location a mystery. Need to be clear about what's recyclable and where, as neighbors deposited in incorrect receptacle.
