Great long weekend getaway.
Great long weekend getaway. Excellent room and view. The pool and steam room were a great way to relax after a big day exploring. It was nice being away from the noisy city and around the river.
The staff were helpful when I needed anything.
Property is in a good location with easy access to trams and buses. View is great. The price per night was very good, however, I was disappointed that we were charged $20 per night to park in the onsite car space allocated to this unit. I was led to believe that the parking was in a parking station.
On arrival, we found the glass panels on the balcony were filthy, with dirt, spider webs and smudge marks all over. Pots and pans in kitchen were very worn, and the floor rug was covered in stains. Some decent cleaning is needed to keep the property up to standard., One tea towel for an 8 day stay - really?

The place is a great place to stay in NYE and they process your check in fast. The only negative comment is the property needing more cleaning and the bond is returned or cleared very long.
Checked into the room, and found that the if conditioner wouldn’t work. Got the kettle out of the cupboard and could smell something very funky. Looked in the kettle and could see a jelly like substance. Poured it out on the bench and it was brown and lumpy…. And stunk. Pretty sure a previous guest had cooked noodles or something in it. The view from this room was horrible. It looks over the construction sight next door, and looks a bit like a wasteland with mangled wood and trolleys dragged out of the river.
We called the property managers and they changed us to another room, with a much better view, and a dirty looking but not smelly kettle which we bought vinegar and cleaned it. The air conditioner also worked better.
The bed was quite uncomfortable, and only one spare pillow, so 1 of us had 2 pillows and the other just 1.
The balcony was dirty and had cobwebs all over the glass. The hand rail was mostly clean, they just seem to forget to wipe the last metre or so of it.
The rest of the place was clean and acceptable.

Good location, good value, clean and comfortable apartment. I would stay again.
Property is well located with great free transport links. Shopping and eating options near by. Well appointed room. However, we found external noise an issue, to the point it ruined our stay in Melbourne. Very close to motorway bridge that is audible through the windows all night. As it’s hard up against the river, we were awakened by the morning boating activities. Would not stay again next time we are in Melbourne.
