Great location and amenities

This hotel has an excellent location in the Melbourne CBD and the kitchenette is handy if you're staying for more than one night. The staff were very friendly although there was a long line at reception almost every time I walked through the lobby. I will definitely be returning in future.

Location good

The good - location is very convenient and a quiet room for a city hotel. The bad - depressing view of a grey concrete wall, slow elevators . Would only stay again if guaranteed a room with daylight , the room I had there was none .

Good location, walk through an alley straight into China Town, tram across the road. Citidines does not have a cafe in the building if you want coffee in the morning, there are cafes around it but these are closed in the weekends. The room doesn't get serviced in the weekends. It is up the quieter end of town do no problem with noise unless sirens are going, and you will get that anywhere. Good price for the location.

Citadines on Bourke is my go-to hotel in Melbourne; quiet, located within walking distance of trams, attractions, eateries. Even if one ventures out to see a show in the theatre district or goes to a jazz venue, it’s an easy walk home. Plenty of cheap and cheerful or more upmarket eats within a 10 minute walk. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and well designed and cost is very reasonable.

The staff at this property were all excellent, but I want to give a special shoutout to Julianna. She went above and beyond to help us with transportation in the city, which for us was our biggest challenge in traveling, as we are used to just jumping in our car and going wherever we need to go.

Everything was pretty much good except the wifi was crap, kept on going in and out but probably because I was on the 21st floor. I did not receive any VIP treatment even though mentioned it at reception area. I would stay here again, it is very convenient with tram stop outside and shops and restaurants nearby.
