Chalet in Maria Alm near Ski Slopes

This lovely Holiday home is located in the well known area of Maria Alm and is spacious enough to accommodate a large family or friends group, with no less than 7 bedrooms for your comfort. With the central heating system, you will find yourself warm enough in the winters.

This area is a paradise amongst tourists who are interested in various snow related activities like skiing, snowboarding or sleighing, due to the availability of many slopes with well enough snow. Even in the spring or summers, you can enjoy the sereneness of the far stretched green meadows from the home itself.

The holiday home has beautiful living room with open plan kitchen and a large dining table for your group to have meals together. You have a balcony from where the view of mountain slopes can be enjoyed , with snow in the winter. There is also parking facility available.

Being at the centre location, day trips to Salzburg or Zell am See, Kaprun reservoir,  Kaprun reservoir, the Grossglockner, Burg Hohen Werfen and the 'World of the Ice Giants' can be easily taken into consideration. Public transport is within a kilometre range and airport being at 86 km distance.

Saubere Unterkunft, freundliche Besitzer. Für unseren Aufenthalt von 1 Woche bekamen wir nur 1 Badetuch und 1 Handtuch pP für die ganze Woche! Die Küchenwäsche bestand aus 3 Geschirrtüchern, kein Küchentuch oder Geschirrtücher, daher war das Wäschepaket wirklich minimal. Die Unterkunft war laut Beschreibung für 15 Personen, der Gemeinschaftsraum ist für diese Zahl wirklich unzureichend, die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind in Ordnung! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön!

Der Empfang war sachlich unterkühlt.Ein herzlicher Empfang geht anders. Verbote und die Sorge um einen pfleglichen Umgang der Gäste mit dem Haus stehen offensichtlich an erster Stelle. Die Frage nach einem Schneeschieber(es gab über 30cmNeuschnee) um die Autos freizuschaufeln wurde abschlägig beschieden( das wäre nicht nötig)...hab ich in 20 Jahren Skiurlaub auch noch nicht erlebt. Die obere Etage ist toprenoviert, die mittlere leider nicht. Sehr schöner Essbereich. Rauchen ist nur auf dem hinteren Balkon erlaubt ...denk,grübel..warum ? Dem Hofhund sollte man sich nicht nähern,zumindest nicht, wenn er an der Leine des Ferienhauses vertäut war(so der Warnhinweis). Daran haben sich alle gehalten .Diejenigen, die Hunden nicht so ganz zugeneigt waren hatten etwas Muffen, wenn der Vierbeiner unangeleint über den Hof fegte. Brötchenservice durch die Vermieter top! Küchenhandtücher gehörten leider nicht zum Wäschepaket und mussten extra nachgefragt werden obwohl in der Beschreibung Belvilla enthalten. Lage des Hauses gut(für geübte Skifahrer über eine Skiroute erreichbar, wenn man die Pistensperrung ignoriert.Abfahrt zum Lift 2x abschnallen ok

Da es bereits dunkel war und es viel Schnee auf der Straße zum Haus gab (ohne Schneekette nicht zu tun), konnten wir das Haus nicht finden und haben den Besitzer angerufen, aber uns wurde in einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton gesagt, dass alle Gäste Wir konnten es finden und es wurde uns nicht weiter geholfen. Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir eine kurze Besichtigung des Hauses in einem unfreundlichen Ton. Außerdem mussten wir unsere Betten selbst machen und es gab keinen Salztopf oder Filterbeutel im Haus. Wir konnten die Garage nicht benutzen Der Aufenthaltsraum war abgeschlossen. Bei der sehr strengen Endkontrolle des Hauses wurde sogar in den Staubbeutel geschaut. Es war ein schönes, geräumiges Haus

Ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Umgebung, und ist für eine große Gruppe geeignet, da sie uns war (4 Familien mit Kindern zwischen 7 und 12 Jahren), obwohl der Mangel an Waschmaschine und Internetanschluss sind berüchtigt und behoben werden soll. Die Besitzer sprechen nur Deutsch (dies zu berücksichtigen).
