Ideal location to experience all of Lakeside, as well as, the Islands and Shorelines are at your disposal - It is all very close - Historic Marblehead Lighthouse, local restaurants and ice-cream shops, wine tasting and so much more!

We had a wonderful day in Lakeside celebrating our son‘s 30th birthday. our cottage was perfect for five adults..

Caution to anyone wanting a nice getaway! Upon arriving the house was dirty. We did our own cleaning but also gave the owners (a LLC) feedback about the dirty house, overgrown weeds, and the worst part - very loud construction just feet away. Google maps shows an empty lot next door - nope! It's now a 2 story house under construction. There were up to 3 trucks there at a time and it was almost impossible to sit on the screened in porch. When we returned to the house we even had to ask them to move a truck so we could park! My getaway was finally cut short by 3 nights because it was all so annoying. The owners would not provide any type of a partial refund. I only asked for something for the days cut short and was not asking for any type of compensation for the other issues. While this cottage has such potential, there are so many rentals in Lakeside in far better condition and without construction right next door. (The owners told us we should have walked over and asked the workers to stop working, which is absolutely not right)Lakeside itself is an adorable, safe community.
