We absolutely loved the property and found it perfect for the activities we had planned in Marathon. Having a place to dock the boat directly behind the house made our stay so much easier. The large yard which was fenced in gave our five year-old twin boys, a safe place to play while my husband cleaned the fish. We even had the extra bonus of showing the boys a manatee that was directly behind the house in the canal. We also liked the fact that there was room to park our boat trailer in the side yard. The home was impeccable. Everything was absolutely immaculate. The 7 mile bridge is about a 20 to 25 minute ride through the harbor at idle speed, but there are a lot of interesting homes, boats, restaurants, and other scenery to look at that makes the ride seem shorter. We had a lucky day fishing not far from the 7 mile bridge and came home with some good sized yellowtail and mutton snapper. The kitchen could have had more pots and pans and baking trays, but was still sufficiently furnished. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering the tasty Keylime pie in the refrigerator, thanks to the gracious hospitality of our host Christy. She responded to all of my messages and questions within minutes and we honestly could not have asked more from her. She was wonderful & so was her property. Will definitely stay here again.
