Appreciated the onsite dining and bar after a 12 hr day. Bartender was outstanding. Very welcoming staff and a lovely fire in the lobby fireplace. Wished we could have stayed longer than a night.

We’ve stayed here on two different occasions. The entire staff (including the lobby’s coffee/cocktail bar) are incredibly kind, polite, professional, welcoming, and helpful. Also, this might be a strange thing to notice for most people, but their cleaning supplies leave things smelling fresh and clean without smelling like over-perfumed chemicals. I often get head-aches from strong chemical smells (like Fabuloso, for example). The cleaning supplies at this hotel leave a lovely, light, pleasant fragrance without being over-bearing and blindingly strong.

Poor service. Refused to stop pot smoking

Horrible. I had to switch to another Marriott. The room next door had heavy pot smokers and the front staff wouldn’t stop them. The hotel was full but they didn’t over a refund but they did admit that there was a smell of pot in the room. Marriot in downtown Macon was great

We stayed here on a road trip as a place to crash for 4-5 hours and take a break from driving. For that purpose it was okay but would not stay for extended period. Rooms were outdated, carpets need replacing, and walls need to be painted. Smelled old
