Awesome LAKE front cottage offers relaxation and fun! Great for Families!

La Vida Loca Cottage offers a relaxing get-a-way and lake front enjoyment. The house is perfect for leisure weekends as well as fun venue for entertaining the family for a week with kayaking, boat rentals nearby for water sports and fishing from the dock.

The southern exposure on open water, and wrap around covered porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the predominantly southern breeze. A fresh cup of coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the lake is a must. The cottage offers a large living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, expansive windows, a spacious well-appointed kitchen, and large informal dining bar. Outside the approximately 800 square feet of decking creates the perfect outdoor environment where you and lucky guests will enjoy east facing open water views and unlimited entertainment possibilities. In addition, there is a private boathouse with large sun deck.

We have 2 Kayaks that are available for our guests use.

The house is in a clean and safe well-maintained neighborhood.

The house is fully stocked with all that you need to have a comfortable stay. Plenty of room in the house and on the porch. Because we had a lot of rain we utilized the covered patio and it was awesome.

Great Vacation Home

We had a great stay, clean and comfortable. We stayed in for dinners, good selection of dishes, cookware, etc. Only stayed 2 nights this trip but will definitely return to this lovely home. Kids loved the yard to play in and also the air hockey table! Would highly recommend this home for future stays!

Great Stay!

The location was great. The water was higher this summer so we were able to float relatively close to the house. The bottom is soft but not too squishy so you don't have to wear water shoes if you don't want to. The house was very clean, they provided lots of bed linens, shower towels and beach towels. It says it can park 4 cars on the listing but it easily holds 6! Super close to public boat launch in Log Cabin and Lee park is pretty close as well! I would definitely stay here again. Great house! Wedding weekend

Because we were here for a nearby wedding, we didn’t have time to really enjoy this great house. It is clean, the kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfy. We want to come back so that we can really enjoy the lake and the beautiful open water lake view.

Rest and Relax!

Family came and celebrated my 48 birthday and it was a nice two nights! We felt at home and had all we needed for a relaxing time. We fished off the dock, kids played on the beach and we had good food a day family time! We would rent this place again, as it was a great fit!

Football game trip

Comfy, Relaxing Retreat

Every year our family stays at a Lakehouse to reconnect with each other. This home was perfect for us! We spent most of our time on the wrap around porch or in the lake. The dock had ladders, a place to tie up a boat (safely & securely) and the lake floor was free of debris. The common area was perfect… I loved how accommodating it was… whether it was family game night or family movie night, we fit perfectly! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked and we had plenty of towels, tp, paper towels, & trash bags (usually a sore spot for us!). The only thing we had a problem with was the local pizza place “lost” our order and we had to eat sandwiches for dinner on our last night. No problems at all with the home, location, or amenities!! Thanks for an unforgettable family trip!
