Room was not well cleaned. There was n o elevator to the second floor and partner had just sprained her ankle. Staff seemed unconcerned about cleanliness and did not heed our request to not send cleaning staff in the next day.

Dunes Express Inn & Suites was average at best. The bathroom was horrible. The faucet into the tub was turned so the water came out sideways. The shower head was falling apart and adjustment knob was frozen in place. The water went cold in the middle of the shower, and there was no soap in the room for the shower. There was a soap dispenser above the sink and shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower, but no soap for the shower.

Beds were very firm, pillows were kind of small. Everything pretty outdated especially the TV. Pretty sure the channels were as old as the TV somehow and I’m not joking- programs from the early 2000s. Wasn’t easy to entertain the kids at night with the tv. A kids show or movie would have been nice. Nothing super special but will do when booking last minute and nothing else is available. Easy to park the dune vehicles/trailers.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Leland. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the breakfast was decent. We were by an outside door so it was a little noisy.

Birthday/Dunes trip. First time!!! Will be back!

It was first time there; and very clean and well kept hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Only couple things I would change. 1. The binder they give you with the information was completely covered in coffee stains. 2. The event calendar they had in binder was from 2019, so maybe an update on that. 3. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed on the side so the water kept making a huge puddle outside the tub. 4. Maybe keep and extra blanket in room as well.

We chose this hotel because I knew of the cleanliness they keep their facility. I have stayed here in the past for work for EFF and appreciate the fact that the staff definitely take care of their guests. They are in the process of updating as well and what is completed looks very nice.
