Resort location, cleanliness and hospitality from workers is 5/5. Food was 3/5 but we knew that going into it. Transparency is 0/5 - we book this trip as we were given $750 voucher for resort activities.. when we went to book our acitivites we were told it’s $750 of voucherS that are like $10 off when you spend $600 on scuba diving or stupid stuff like that.

It was okay. Nothing to run out and book again. If I was to book another all inclusive I would do more research. No blanket on the bed, no extra pillows in the room. Had to ask them to restock the mini bar when we were told it would be done every other day. Toilet seat came off. Food was not great. My hamburger was like a hockey puck and when we got our appetizer it was cold at the steakhouse. Really not my go to for my next vacation. The people we met were all very nice. No elevator had to carry suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.

Horrible experience! Will never go back here again! Facilities are falling apart, sunchairs are torn, people and staff are rude, customer service is horrible! Staff expects tips for everything and if you want to get into the steak restaurant make sure u have at least 500MXN to get a table even if there are clear visible tables available or else you will be waiting for hours!

staff was incredible and truly made the stay so much fun! we loved the riu parties. there were plenty of pools to swim in. we also loved the in-room bar. food was okay, but you could live off of it without starving. the beach isn’t swimable but if u walk 10 minutes down there is a swimmable one. also in walking distance of people who do water taxis to swimable beaches. the people on the beach are a tad annoying with selling you things, but we understand it’s their business. in addition to the riu parties they also had different entertainment lined up every night and you could check the schedule on the riu app. overall we had a lovely time and are planning to go back here again!

We love the beach, the pools, the varieties of drinks at the bars, and the friendliness of the staffs. The only complaints are the “specialty restaurants” - i believe management can do better in terms of streamline the lineup/reservation. It is kind of messy with no rules when letting people in, which upset a lot of guests and wasting a lot of time. Buffet quality/choices are acceptable

Our stay was amazing!! We are a family of 5 with a 20 year old and two 17 year olds. The pools and beach were amazing! We enjoyed all of the dining options. You will never be hungry. So many food and drink options all day long. All of the parties were fun. The shows on the main stage every night were top notch. There was plenty to do at all hours of the day. Games in the pool, aqua aerobics, and volleyball on the beach. While we were there in December you could get into the ocean right in front of the resort. There was a lifeguard. We walked into town on the beach but it was a pretty hard walk because the sand is deep. We also took a $7 USD Uber into town one day. The rooms themselves were very nice. The beds were comfortable. We had one king room and another double room. The king room also had a sleeper sofa. The rooms were cleaned every day if you want it. There is a fully stocked bar with 4 kinds of liquor and a fully stocked fridge with soda, water, etc that gets restocked my the cleaning staff. Other reviewers complained about the noise from the parties. There are only 4 party times during the week and they end at 11:00. And if your building isn’t at the RIU Party building, you won’t even hear the music. We were in Villa 5. It was a great location! We grabbed a resort photographer on our last night and had some family pics taken in the beach. Easy and inexpensive! I can’t say enough great things about the resort! You can’t go wrong staying here!!
