The front desk staff helped tremendously when the room I booked through Expedia with “protection” was a huge hassle to refund due to a medical emergency. My ongoing stay was booked directly and through a human who understood and worked with the situation. The environment has also been special with the holiday decor as we haven’t been home for this season due to a family medical situation. This Hyatt is a “home” one and close to USC/Keck medical center and highly recommended if you have a loved one being treated there and you are not from the area.
Holiday decor in lobby. Helps make a home away from home.

Room looks good—clean and organized. The bathroom and shower area are also clean and well maintained. If the entire room had wood flooring, it would feel more upscale. The complimentary breakfast is standard. All rooms has a little mini kitchen area, it looks clean too, although I never get a chance to use it, but it is nice to have, The only downside of this property is the train tracks located in front; a train passes every couple of hours, and when it goes through the intersection it blows the horn repeatedly. It was very noisy and woke me up each time.

The staff, especially S.L. was excellent and courteous. She was the highlight of the stay and the only positive thing. And, the complementary breakfast was very good too. On the other hand, the manager, J was rude and shrugged me off when heard about my concern/request. The bed made some noise when I sat on it, there was no room service in the 4-day stay. Ended up with no clean towels, and the carpet smells bad. I was shocked when I was told to pay for parking even though the Expedia did not say so. I would not stay there ever again. I would not recommend it.

Great room. The breakfast was amazing with actual real made scrambled eggs great fruits and pastries, oatmeal teas coffee etc. great place. Overall. One negative and hence why it didn't get 5 stars was the fact that they charged 40 dollars for parking. That wasn't nice!
