Misleading, Unsafe, and Poorly Managed
This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve had. The property was misrepresented in several critical ways, starting with the false address listed on the site. The actual location was over 2 miles away, which meant we were not walking distance from the restaurants, activities, or friends and family we had planned to be near. One of our guests has mobility issues, so this caused significant disruption and hardship.The check-in process was a complete disaster. The host repeatedly sent us a video link for instructions that didn’t work. When we arrived and couldn't access the property, we called the number provided and spoke to a man named David. He gave us a door code that worked, and we settled in thinking that was our unit.Six hours later, a man entered the property without notice and began walking through the home—twice. We were terrified, especially as a group of women traveling together, and nearly called the police. It turns out the host had given us the wrong check-in information, and that unit was already reserved for someone else. We had to pack everything back up and move to a different unit.The second unit wasn’t much better. The fridge filter needed replacing, the ice machine didn’t work, and one of the showers was missing a door entirely. The apartment was also unclean—there was hair in the bathtub and crumbs on the floor.
