This was our second stay here this year for just a night to catch some sleep after doing some Milky Way photography in the nearby Alabama Hills. This time there were no parking spots left when we arrived back at the motel around 1:30 am, so we had to park on the street. I got a terrible night of sleep worrying about the car and not being able to get comfortable on the bed. My husband got up at 7:30 am to move the car into a motel parking spot that had become available, and then we both struggled to fall back asleep for another two hours of much needed sleep. Other than that, the room had everything we needed and was clean without an overbearing chemical cleanser smell that we've experienced at other places.

Air conditioning was very loud indeed , as loud as a roofers blow torch, and intermittent too leading to poor sleep, we turned ours off but the two room adjacent to ours had theirs on. No breakfast and lackluster service from staff.

Inexpensive and uncomfortable

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioner even on low speed was way too powerful and noisy. You get what you pay for.
