The lodge is a gem! Beautifully remodeled, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location. The restaurant, the Hide and Seed was also wonderful with excellent food and a great staff.

A lovely weekend

What a lovely hotel in a fab location. Very friendly staff on arrival and our room was an excellent size and very clean. A short distance from East Putney station to take you into Central London, and a small cafe down the road is excellent for breakfast if you fancy something different. We had drinks at the hotel in the evening and we thought they were great quality for money. The hotel was nice and quiet at night and there was plenty of parking and it all felt very safe. We will definitely stay again.

I didn’t actually make it to a room. We booked through Expedia and after we booked we called and asked if they had parking and the answer was YES So when we arrived we saw that the front carpark was full and the overflow car park was closed. We spoke to the gentleman at reception and asked where we park our car. His reply “The car park is on a first come first serve basis You can park in a side road but I wouldnt do that with your car. And finally there is an NCP carpark a 10 minute walk away” The car park situation is a complete shambles. We had been driving for 5 hours and even called ahead to make sure all was ok. I asked for a refund and was told “ you booked with Expedia so nothing I can do” “ I only work here I can’t help you” The man at the desk was very unhelpful So jumped back in the car and took a short drive to the Hilton. Got a lovely room was greeted by welcoming staff and got a room at short notice with breakfast for £120. They even had a car park space for my car !

I really enjoyed staying here, the staff were caring and accommodating, my room was nicely renovated (although small, but as a solo traveller was fine for me. Loved how they restocked my complimentary espresso and chocolate! One negative was I was right beside the emergency exit and I could see staff members taking breaks beside my window. I didn't let it bother me, but it affected my privacy
