We enjoyed our stay here as it was a good hotel in a great spot, only a 5 minute walk to King’s Cross underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a twin room with a shower which was handy. We had to share a toilet but we had no problems. There was parking but there was a charge but considering it’s London, it was cheaper than a parking lot. We would stay there again.

I have stayed in a couple 2 stars hotels around this area and the Princess hotel is by far the best in terms on cleanliness and amenities. The single room might be a bit smaller compared to other hotels but the amenities are a lot better. I stayed 1night at room 12 (basement), and i am pleased with it. Very basic room but comfortable. Appreciate the shared toilet is just accross the room and that the TV has various channels to choose.

This room is a small room perfect for a short trip or especially helpful if you have an early departure on the train. The customer service was better than the finest hotels I have stayed at. I requested to leave my luggage as I arrived early and when I got back to the hotel, was so happy to know that when the room was ready, my luggage was brought up to my room. Our bags were very heavy so this was a nice surprise. I was walked to my room and oriented to the space. This is a very small space, shared bathroom on another floor but very pleasant and a great experience.

The location was good, but I was shocked to find out that the shower and toilet were shared and required using the stairs, even though I hadn't researched it properly. It might be more of a hostel than a hotel. It would be helpful if the booking system was designed to make it easier to check.
