Breakfast quality varied depending on the chef/day. One day excellent poached eggs, the next day it was not good. They mentioned they had a chef in training. Unfortunately, my room did not have a view of the city/River. It was facing another building. Rooms and facilities were great.

The rooms were lovely, though the bed was quite firm, also walls are quite thin so could hear people around us arguing. We paid £18 pp for the buffet breakfast which was terrible. Nothing was topped up, cheap ingredients and lots of tables rammed closely together, dirty floors and even a hair in the beans, which we complained about but heard nothing.

I initially arrived at about 1800 to check in but the queue was long, so I went for dinner and came back later. I arrive again about 2000 to check in, and it took approximately 10 mins for me to get to the desk, there was a couple at the desk checking in. There were plenty of other staff members around, but no one helped to check me in.

The room was basic for what we paid. Had a view of a flat roof which separated other rooms across from it , unfortunately there was also a disgusting kebab splattered over the roof so we kept the curtains closed throughout our stay. On our last day we went for the buffet breakfast which cost £25 per head. Unfortunately the meal did not match our expectations. We were seated near the window and right beside a table which was stuffed with dirty cutlery, plates and cups and glasses. Like a weighstation where the waiters couldn’t be bothered removing the crockery to the kitchen. Two of the waiting staff walked into my travelling companion whilst she was trying to plate her food. They were rude and avoided any courtesy. We watched one of the waiting staff pick up a dirty napkin from one of the tables, where he brushed off the crumbs to the floor and then did the same again to the next three tables using the same dirty napkin. Truly disgusting and we won’t be staying here again. The buffet ‘hot food’ wasn’t even warm. Sorely disappointed by the food and service team. Really surprised that this is a Raddison with the poor status of the dining. On a pleasant note our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom does need a deep clean though to remove the mould from the shower. Our trip to London was somewhat overshadowed by the hotel.
