We were in 410 on first night. Room was clean but in bad shape. Paint work was scuffed, carpet in very poor condition. Carpet pulled away from join to bathroom. Bathroom had mildew on the ceiling and tiles/grout were in really poor condition. Generally scruffy. We Did not appreciate instant coffee. For this level of hotel a coffee machine should be provided. After complaining to the manager we were offered choice of two rooms on the 3rd floor. One was as bad as 410, and we settled with 337. Even this larger room was dated showing scuff marks on the furniture and carpet. Basically this hotel desperately needs renovating. It is situated in Knightsbridge and does not meet Knightsbridge standards but charges Knightsbridge prices. I have stayed in better low budget hotels. The staff on the whole were customer orientated and pleasant and certainly are to be commended. We will not stay again at The Millennium not do we recommend it.

Millennium Knightsbridge Hotel London

Overall nothing like we expected. Everything in the hotel including the room is old and worn out. The bathroom was terrible, the heater in the room didn’t work so they brought us a portable that then would bake the room. About the only thing that was close to acceptable was the breakfast buffet. And I would only rate it has average at best.

Bad smell from the bedding, which hadn’t dried properly, and the bathroom smelled of mould and damp. Combined, it was pretty overwhelming. When feedback was provided to staff, they shifted blame onto me for not telling them sooner.
