Pros: Nice Shower, comfortable room, nice neighborhood, good buffet breakfast. Cons: poor signage (had trouble finding it at night), reception not responsive (multiple calls to the front desk went unanswered), fire alarm at 6am. Have noticed other reviews have mentioned fire alarms.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. On this occasion we left my husbands medication in the mini fridge and when we called just a couple of hours after check out to let them know and that we could come back to collect it we were told it was not there. This means it had not been saved as lost property by the housekeepers and had been discarded. In our opinion this is not good practise.

Little Details…

The Staff were great, the reception area, great.. But the room, dining room all looked a little tired, and little details, like standard light in room not working, coffee machine made Luke warm coffee at Breakfast.. which was a shame. It has a great location, but some of the finer details should be given a little attention..

Just Ok

After arriving our bags was taken to our room & double bed when twin was requested, tv wasn’t working & also the charging plug socket, so bed had to be changed to a twin & maintenance for the rest. Got room service for breakfast free of charge because of this & breakfast & coffee cold on arrival. Coffee from the bar downstairs excellent & comfortable places to sit. Asked to order a taxi from reception because I was travelling with my disabled son & was told to get one outside on the street. Pillows were flat & hard.

pretty average. room smelt of damp, and bed was very small- a queen size. the lift could be heard gping up and down through the walls. a fire alarm went off at 6am on sunday morning. and again an hour later. breakfast was very expensive and stock wasnt replenished. crunchy melon- that kind of standard. honestly I think we’d have got the same experience, if a little better, at a premiere inn

The room was very tired and next to the lift so noisy. The TV did not work and the bathroom door did not close properly which is unacceptable. We have stayed here many times and there are better rooms but this was poor and not value for money.

Well located to 'posh' shops, Harrods etc. Near to Knightsbridge tube. Reception staff were friendly. I had asked for a high up room on my reservation but this was not picked up on. My room was clean and tidy, although it was showing a few signs of needing renovation, e.g. seal and grout in batthroom. Managed to get a good price for a double room meaning value for money was good.

Horrible experience

I stayed 2 nights. On my first night coming back late to sleep the blinds did not close properly lesving a big gap in the middle as they are completely stuck. Could not sleep as full light from the street coming into the room. The next day i went out to my outings abd cane back to the hotel at 8:30pm to find my room gad not been cleaned nor the bed made. I called the reception to complin and was told if i did not request for the room to be cleaned they dont clean them!! What hotel does this? 4* hotel are you serious? The room was not clean i found hair on the bathroom towel…room condition is poor…same for bathroom.

Rented 3 rooms. In two of them, the toilets were broken. Smoke alarm went off 3 times during the night with no good explanation from staff. TVs not working in one room. Took card for incidentals but every time we went charge to the room we had to present card again and go to front desk.
