Each room is based on a different author. The room I stayed in had a nautical nuance as it was the Jules Verne room. It wasn't overstated but clean and in good condition.

This hotel is very cutie every room has a story and represent a famous author or philosopher. We stayed in a room for Jules Verne. However, if I am traveling alone I may not select this hotel the hallway lights on the second floor was always off some with motion sensors. So as a female traveling alone I would not feel safe. I understand energy conservation but some hallway light should always be on.

I loved that this hotel offered a unique stay! I wish all my vacations included this kind of hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful whenever I had an issue. I had an issue with my air conditioning, which was resolved in a reasonable time frame. I fully admit I am type A when it comes to cleaning. I noticed some dust in unusual places, but I also realize I stayed in a room specifically for handicapped individuals, so maybe the room isn't cleaned as often?

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to go to a concert at the 02. Really enjoyed our stay, lovely to stay at an individual hotel instead of a faceless chain. We stayed in a twin room at the top of the hotel. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, warm and bright. Breakfast was great and we couldn’t get over how all the beautiful plants and ornaments everywhere. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

This is a very unique property, with each room individually decorated. Amenities in the room are basic, although they do provide small bathrobes and slippers and free bottled water. The Limehouse area is not pretty and there are very few restaurants around. You can walk to Canary Wharf in about 15 minutes where there are better amenities.

Wonderful visit

Wonderful hotel with eclectic decorations all throughout. SUPER clean. Excellent service and a wonderful high tea option. Located in an area that is easily accessible by public transportation and has less expensive grocery and restaurant options than the proper tourist areas.

The unique and unusual decorations in the hotel lobby/bar area were nice, and there were convenient fast food places/shops nearby. Yet we didn't feel the room was safe as the sliding door to the bathroom was easily opened quickly, and the wall overlapped the door handle which caused my boyfriend to get his finger crushed in the door which ruined the trip. There was also a 12% service fee if you ate at the restaurant which seemed a little pricey - then again I'm not sure if that is normal for hotels.

This is a beautiful, eclectic, very unique hotel that was once a public library. They did an amazing job with the renovation; you would have to see it for yourself. It’s indescribable. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. If I ever come back to London, this will be my lodging location of choose!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel

This is such a beautiful hotel. We only got to stay one night but when I return to London I’ll surely stay here again. Note it is not a hotel suitable for toddlers. They have many collectible small items and toddlers love to run away from you and touch or grab things when you don’t look for a second. The beds are super comfortable and the AC works great. Each room looks completely different from the next. The staff out front is so sweet. Right in front of the hotel there is a bus stop and it stops in major places like Liverpool station. You’re able to get to and from the airports from liverpoool station since it’s a major station in London. We took the metro from Heathrow to Liverpool station and right outside was the bus that brought us straight to the hotel. The terrace here is to die for. Exquisite with all its cute plants and scenery. Again it’s a beautiful and very comfortable hotel. Very conveniently located too. I will definitely stay here in the future just not with a toddler. I had a baby this time so it was fine. When she’s in her exploring phase she will stay back because it’s not appropriate for places like these. If you’re an adult couple of just have a small baby like we did or a bigger kid it’s fine though.

Very cute hotel

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Very cute hotel with a lovely roof terrace. The room was bright and modern, it was very warm but it did have air conditioning. Shower over the bath was a bit of a pain, could only have very limited pressure otherwise the shower head shot back and covered everywhere in water. Room very well equipped with nice selection of teas and pod coffee maker. Handy storage area for suitcase including hanging space, but could have done with an iron in the room.
