Very disappointed. Reception team very miserable and unwelcoming. Lifts take ages. Rooms basic and show signs of wear and tear. Superficially clean, needs a good deep clean. No plug for the bath. The only friendly faces we saw was when the two of the house keepers said good morning. Rooms very noisy and lots of banging. Also when we arrived back to the hotel, there was a fight that had broken out in one of the function rooms which caused loud screaming and staff running to the function room.

Several lights in the room didn’t work, and the staff didn’t know which switches were supposed to control them. But otherwise the stay was great. The staff was very helpful, and the hotel is in an excellent location: there are several restaurant options nearby, multiple transit stops, and several parks are not too far away.

We selected this hotel for our stay in London because of its location and previous positive experiences at Hilton hotels. The location was close to key metro/train stations which was extremely convenient. The room itself was okay-the bathroom was small and clearly needed some extra attention. There were hard water stains in the shower area and the plumbing made a screaching sound when adjusting the temp and pressure. The bed was comfy, butroom size was smaller than expected.

The restaurant staff was good. The food was ok. When I booked my room, it was advertised as having a tub/shower combo which is why I selected it, but when we checked in, I was informed that I would need to pay extra to have a room with a tub/shower combo. I paid the extra, however the tub was stained and very worn and narrow. It was definitely not worth the extra amount I had to pay. The housekeeping staff needs to improve the quality of their work. After we checked in we found a n95 mask under the edge of the bed. Not all of our garbage was picked up. If something accidently fell out, it was left on the floor by the housekeeping staff. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. I understand London was expensive but the hotel was not worth the price we paid. We were more comfortable in the other hotel we stayed at. The location of the hotel was good, however we would not stay here again.
