I saw poor reviews before going and ask the host if things were better and was assured they were. Nope! The dryer did not work, no access to dock that our boat was docked at ( locked) gate. No fishing at dock, various lights in house did not work, dripping water on pool area from air conditioner , unsafe chairs at tables. No answers from host except( thanks for the information)

Not for the Elderly!!

first, there is only a toilet downstairs, not a shower or bath. Handicap folks would not be able to shower if needed. Dishes were dirty and NO dishsoap, the downstairs 'game room' smelled HORRID when we got there. We reached out to the company/owners and they said sorry. We had to go to Walmart to get room neutralizers and fans to air it out the back door! The fan/AC did NOT Work in that garage/bedroom either. Every table inside & out had busted legs and fell each time we sat at them. TV doesn't work upstairs. Upstairs shower door didn't open. The upstairs tub in the master was filthy with water sitting in it. The master bedroom bed sheets/blankets were still dirty - hair, make up, etc on the sheets very noticeable. The couches in the livingroom need to be replaced as once you sit, you can't get up. This home is NOT for anyone who cannot walk upstairs to take a shower. My elderly parents couldn't even stay the whole time because of the smell in the converted garage bedroom. The chlorine in the pool - not sure if the PH was off or the chlorine was just dumped in right before we got there, but everyone got a terrible rash that BURNED when they got into the pool. we thought it was just the kids who were effected, but it was the adults too. The grill was disgusting, the outside tables were filthy and missing chairs. We found a baby bottle in a bedroom with milk still in it.. curdled milk. Along with trash everywhere

My trip was from June 30-July 3. Poor management and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!! You cannot fish at this house and on the listing they stated that the pier is for you to use during your stay. The dryer didn't work on the first night and they say someone will come out to check it out. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP OUR ENTIRE STAY!!!! They stated trash day was Wednesday so we pulled out 3 bins for them on Tuesday night....the next morning we noticed two of the bins was knocked down. It was like someone INTENTIONALLY knocked it down and we noticed no one on the street even have their bins out. My husband had to picked up the trash and put it back in the bins. On the last night of our stay, my husband was hanging outside and had music turned up, there's a KAREN next door who asked him to low down the music @5/6 pm! Quiet hours starts at 10PM! THE HOUSE SEEMS LIKE IT IS INFESTED WITH FLIES!!!! I'm not exaggerating but when you eat you have to finish your food fast and cover it up or put it away ASAP!!! The dining tables and chairs were WOBBLY! The light for the shower in the master bedroom doesn't work. If you sleep in the master bedroom, it will be loud when the ac turns on. Outside in the back of the house, there's water dripping from the side house constantly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK THIS HOUSE. I have attached my conversations with them and NO I HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT ANY PARTIAL REFUND OR ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!

Family 4th of July weekend

When we arrived there were 3 55 gal trash cans full of stinky disgusting trash snd flies were everywhere. We tried for 2 days to get property manager to clean it up and they never did-plus we had no where to put our trash. VRBO sight indicated fishing from our pier-WRONG-no access to pier at all. The railing across patio which led to pool had wrungs missing -very dangerous for little kids to fall through

Family Vacation 2025

The home was filthy. Broken light fixtures, shorts in several lights, unclean pool, noGarbage pickup, cobwebs, dryer broken, several doors to restroom locks and handlesBroken, master shower door doesn't close, no kitchen linens, furniture was aged and/or broken, chemicals inPool burned children, spindles on backPorch are broke off and nails sticking out which is a safety violation, stair case railing on is loose with broken spindles. Cleaners left soiled sheets and mattressPads with pee I washed and dried. No host came to inspect fix address issues inPerson .

Relaxing,great location, very quiet and peaceful

Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street has Allen wrenches for cheap, tighten the legs it’ll be good to go for awhile.main living room is very comfy, plenty of seating tv was great lots of selections, back of remote kept falling off. Half bath was a rodeo adventure After no one being able to stay on for 8 second, back to dollar general for a screwdriver, problem solved. Game room was absolutely amazing! Great lighting, tv again great selections. Lots of beds. Was only 5 of us on this stay so didn’t require using them, but was just amazing to see how this house would accommodate a church group or larger family gathering. And lemme tell ya, the AC in there will freeze you out. Going to feel great for any who plan on staying in August and September.Pool was lovely, but too cold this trip next time for sure. Don’t trust the cat! He’s not really starving. We being suckers fell for his nightly screaming, I’m starving at the back sliding door. Overall great property, could use a little TLC and some respect from future guests.

We selected this home because my husband loves to fish ro relax. It was his 50th birthday; despite sevaral hicupps we enjoyed our time. If I would recommend anything is a better cleaning crew as well as better response time to vaild concerns. Otherwise beautiful location .

Lake House at Livingston

The listing made it seem like we could put in and park our boat at the pier as it was included, it was not we had to pay an extra 30/night to have our boat parked in the water. It also made it seem like we would be able to fish off the pier and we couldn’t because it’s part of a marina. The furniture was broken or barely held together, we had to fix one of the chairs and the dining table was extremely wobbly. The outdoor furniture was the same, one of the tables was completely broken on the bottom. The dish washer wouldn’t turn on, thankfully our husbands were able to do some troubleshooting to figure out how to get it to turn on. The light in the pantry didn’t work and internet was so slow even the TVs would buffer forever when trying to watch a movie The stay wasn’t horrible but definitely not what we were expecting especially with the description on the listing. The company was very responsive however it seems like this is a larger company renting multiple homes and this listing just may not have been visited by the owners in a while.

Lots of things need fixing.

Was a beautiful property but had quite a few things that needed to be fixed. Light bulbs out in pantry, and master shower. Shelf off in master shower. Had to set toiletries on floor. Very inconvenient. Toilet seat in main floor bathroom was loose. Kept sliding to side when you sat down. Towel racks in all baths missing. TABLE WAS RUCKETY PATIO TABLE BROKEN. Needs TLC

Perfect for our extended family

We booked this for Labor Day weekend for our family as a halfway meeting place. It was perfect for us. The rain showers limited our time in the pool but that only gave us more time to be together inside. The owner was very easy to work with and I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

We had a fabulous time at this property. It accommodated all of our needs. I do have to say that the pool is super awesome to have near a lake but also it is very slippery and 5 of my family members slipped. Be careful with the pool but also it is a nice add . All and all a great fun place
