Historic and beautiful. The room, the lobby, the staff. I do feel the lobby should serve drinks from their bars to patrons who are lounging in the lobby, similar to The Peabody. Especially on NYE. But our stay was excellent!

The Hotel is wonderful, and we had supper at the Capital grill and the servers were wonderful and the staff all the way around from Valet to the front desk could not have been friendlier, we will be back

The valet, check in, room, hotel everything was perfect, staff with those responsibilities was excellent. The Capital Bar staff was rude and unpleasant, not just once, not just one person, several from hostess to waitress to even clean up. We went at 3:00, had bad experience, then went back at 8;30 and encountered same attitude. Obvious culture of Capital Bar is not up to Capital Hotel expectations.
