We stayed here with 20 family members and had the best time! The house was spacious, fully stocked, and had a beautiful view. The host was incredibly accommodating and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Perfect spot for a big family getaway!

Phenomenal stay at the most beautiful place! We had 29 adults and five children and there was something to do tor everyone. The place was so clean, welcoming and comfortable. Anything you could ever need was there. Terra was the best host, it felt like you were working with a friend. She went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met. Highly recommend Pine Lodge !!

We had 25 friends on and off over a nine day period. The house was huge and it was a really fun party house. The highlights were a huge bonfire with enough seating for everyone around it in the yard. Our host TARA was amazing. She showed up in person several times to help out with events at the house. She lined us up with two amazing chefs, including a fantastic lobster feast. And lined up paddling trips, etc., for us. If you have a large group of friends and family who liked being together, Pine Lodge worked out amazingly well for us.

The Perfect Family Vacation Home!

Our family of 19 stayed at Pine Lodge (ages 15-78) for our bi-annual family vacation. This vacation was in planning for the last 2 years and Terra has been nothing but a joy throughout the whole process. She was quick to respond to all of our questions both before and during our stay. We also had one family member with mobility concerns and Terra was able to place ramps in the front of the house as well as inside the home to make things easier. She was even able to place shower bars for safety in one of the showers. It was nice to feel taken care of before we even got there! Our week at Pine Lodge was beautiful! Our family made great use of the game room, pool, lounge chairs, fire pit, and many activities on the property. The outside seating was plentiful and we were able to have spaces to relax, read, play games, and eat as a whole family. With 9 kids ranging in age from 15-23 the bunk room offered plenty of space for kids who wanted to stay together as well as some private rooms incorporated for the older kids who wanted a little more privacy but still to be part of the action. The loft is a great space with a beautiful view. There were plenty of bedrooms for all of the adults as well. The living areas are both so comfortable with plenty of space for the whole family! The kitchen was full of everything you need to make yourself at home. Highly recommend Pine Lodge for a large group!

extended family stay

We appreciated the opportunity to stay at this property, and it worked well for our large extended family with ages ranging from under 2 to 60. However, several issues affected our overall experience.- some of the beds were uncomfortable and lacked support.- Lighting, many bulbs were out, and the home was dim overall. - Windows and doors, a few windows were broken, and the front screen door hinges were in bad shape- Bathrooms, they were not very clean, and a few had a strong urine smell. Some sinks didn't drain properly- Musty odor, the bedroom near the game room had a strong musty smell.- Power outage, no one's fault obviously but we were out of power for a few hours, and the emergency lights did not work. Terra did drop flashlights off for us. A property of this size and cost would benefit from a backup generator.- Wi-Fi was challenging and only seemed to work in half the house.On a positive note, we appreciated the new toaster(s), scrabble game and well-maintained pool. Terra was so friendly, a lovely host and was very accommodating. Generally, there just seemed to be a fair amount of deferred maintenance and for a property with a price tag like this I guess we just expected a bit more. Also note that Bar Harbor is a good hour and a half away, Acadia a bit further.... lovely towns closer though which helped. We did have a good time with our extended family, and you would be hard pressed to find a home that could nicely host so many people (26)

5.5 STARS!Terra was a most gracious host. Her property is amazing for family gatherings. The property has so many different activities to do. The space is wide open with ample seating indoor and outdoor. Both indoor and outdoor fireplace. She was extremely responsive to inquiries and very timely. She helped us ahead of time by providing information for catering services while on property. She was there at our check-in process to answer any questions that we might have.

What a great house for our family of 20 plus!! Property was awesome with enough space to spread out and enjoy the Maine fall weather with cookouts and bonfires!! Wonderful spot for a family reunion!

We loved our stay at Pine Lodge! The house is huge, with plenty of beds, bathrooms, activities, a well-equipped kitchen, tons of beach and bath towels, and an amazing host. We were a group of 14, including one family member with mobility issues. Terra, the owner, was fabulous. Before we booked, she wanted to make sure that the house would meet our needs. My uncle uses a rollator (a walker with wheels) and moves around with some difficulty. Terra walked me through the bedroom/bathroom options that were available to him (one small bedroom off the kitchen, close to a bathroom with walk-in shower, or a larger bedroom off the first floor game room, also with a walk-in shower). She had two ramps that she put in place for our visit: one was installed at the front entrance and the other led into the sunken living room. She wanted to make sure that he was safe and comfortable, so she bought additional ramps and installed safety bars in both first floor bathrooms prior to our arrival. She really went above and beyond. The house itself was very comfortable, with lots of activities for guests of all ages. The wifi wasn't great once you moved away from the router, but I always had cell service (Verizon) and could even stream tv/movies using my data plan. The location itself was wonderful. A quick ride to Camden or Belfast. And Terra provided tons of great recommendations, including a caterer for a lobster bake, where to get info on fishing, and where to swim/boat. We had a great time!

Marvelous Home in Midcoast Maine

This lovely, large home in the midcoast Maine community of Northport was the site of our family reunion, involving 17 adults and 12 children for a week. The owner was wonderful and responsive and the property is beautiful, inside and out. It is on a wooded hillside with wonderful ocean views and great pool and games and other amenities that satisfied all in our diverse group. It is close to beaches and great experiences in coastal communities of Belfast, Camden, Rockport, and Boothbay. I highly recommend!

We had a blast for two weeks at Pine Lodge! The house is huge and comfortable with plenty of seating and space. The yard was a playground for kids and adults. We loved access to a pool on the hot days. We had two lobster bakes and visited Belfast and Camden many times. Each day we planned an adventure, between hikes, kayaking, visiting alpaca, or farms. We had family from age 15 to 88 and everyone had an excellent time.

Family Vacation

You will not regret staying at this property!! Terra was such a wonderful hostess and her property is amazing!! The views were wonderful, there is so much room for everyone and so much to do inside and outside of the house. If the weather is bad, you dont have to worry, there is plenty to do right there! Terra has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We hated to leave and would definately be back.

Family Vacay in Northport, ME

My family came together in Northport for a family vacation. 18 ppl from CA and 7 from Lewiston. The home had a great kitchen to cook for this large group. Plenty of fridge space. Grocery stores are not far in either direction, dont stress if you forget something. The rooms dining area, living room and game room had plenty of space for people to move around without bumping into anyone. Plenty of bathrooms to go around. The pool and hot tub provided great family time, a fire pit allowed for s'mores and gas grills really cooked up food quickly. Nice outdoor seating for a lobster bake. Large grassy lawn to run around, swings, volleyball area. Northport is ideally located between Camden and Belfast. We had groups travel to Acadia, to Fort Know, take schooner ride, rent kayaks, visit LL Bean, Portland. Terra (owner) was great with providing info in all areas of things to do including giving a great deal to rent kayaks. Terra also responded quickly whenever I had a question/concern. It rained a couple days, and the layout of the home allowed for great times playing board games, card games, etc. We did bring our own cards...There is a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table as well. lots of laughs, a fabulous place to gather with family.

Family Reunion Fun

Loved the outside play areas for kids and pool. The room layout was challenging due to the loft safety. The kitchen was large but completely empty of all basic staples, including garbage bags and extra paper towels. The host was responsive to our requests. Overall the house is amazing, just lacking in the kitchen set up.

Amazing Family Vacation

This property is everything as pictured. There were 25 family members with 6 of those children. The outdoor activities entertained all ages, campfires at night, s'mores, swimming, hiking trails, ample parking. The property is spacious enough to allow everyone to "do their own thing ". Kitchen facilities more than adequate for cooking and eating, multiple refrigerators. Thumbs up ✅ from all !

Terra and the Pine Lodge were incredible!!

This place made for an absolutely perfect fall wedding. The ability to house everyone in the wedding party, as well as parents/siblings made the weekend easy. Terra contacted us about everything we would need ahead of time.

Good for a big group

We had five families with 21 adults. The property was able and sleep all of us comfortably. The kitchen was adequate for cooking for a large group. Terra was awesome. Anything we needed she took care of immediately. I would recommend renting this property.

A Great Family Gathering

We loved staying at Pine Lodge and in North Port! At the house there were things for everyone from 4 generations to do. Great little reading sports, a beautiful lawn, lawn games, the pool and hot tub, the evening fire pit, and the game room. Our excursions included kayaking (we saw a seal!), day trips to Camden, Belfast, and Acadia/Bar Harbor. The only part that was tough was the 530pm checking and the 830 checkout. Otherwise, we loved this house and would love to stay again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Phenomenal property with attentive owner. All eight grandchildren, from 10 Months Old to 10 Years Old, thoroughly enjoyed the stay, living in the pool by day and gazing at the stars from the deck at night. The view across Penobscot Bay to Islesboro is spectacular. First time we tried grilling on the deck, one of the grills didn't work. I called Terra who immediately came over and quickly replaced it with a brand new grill.
