Very pleasant weekend away at the White Hart hotel. Our room, number 104, was very comfortable with the only exception being the the early morning delivery’s were directly beneath our window.

Not bad not good just ok

The room was clean and well appointed - (we had a deluxe double - but it was 2 singles with a topper but it was clearly two single beds you had a gap down the middle which does not normally happen in this kind of situation. Was noisy but I expected this due to location - come midnight it went silent so all good - breakfast was ok.

Disappointing

Was disappointed as this is a premier hotel in Lincoln. We arrived late to find no lift to get our luggage up several steps to our room. Whilst the room was comfortable it was dark with the lamps a problem-solving exercise to actually turn them on. Most disappointing was the lack of bedrrom servicing on our 2nd night. First world issues I know but still not what you expect.

This is an historic hotel with great charm. But it is next to the Lincoln Cathedral where bells ring 4 times an hour from 7am to 11pm. We found that annoying.

Lovely room and bathroom, clean and comfortable. However, it was much noisier than we expected overnight. The windows were old and single glazed. We could hear people in the streets talking and laughing until about 3am.It was a Saturday night in the town centre so we expected some noise but not that much. We could also clearly hear people coming back to their rooms after a night out. We got very little sleep. Staff were polite and did their best but breakfast was not very organised. They have a system with 2 breakfast sitting so a lot of people arrived for breakfast at the same time which probably wasn’t the best system. We went for the 8-8.15 sitting. People were queuing up to go into the room when we arrived. We didn’t have to wait to long to be seated but the people sitting next to us described it as fawlty towers! We were offered tea and coffee on arrival but we had to remind them twice before it arrived. Staff were bringing food out and taking it to the wrong tables so ended up wandering round asking different tables if that was what they had ordered. The waiter managed to knock the lamp off our table. The people at the next table asked for porridge (off the menu) assuming it would be made onsite but were told they could only have the gluten free porridge which came in a premade pot that they had to add water to themselves. However our breakfast (when we eventually got it) was very nice. Overall a nice hotel but we wouldn’t stay here again due to the noise

Had a fantastic overnight stay at the White Hart. The room was spacious and well maintained, bathroom was huge and the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing with a wide choice. It’s perfectly located if you want an evening around the Bailgate area. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful hotel with outstanding decor and fantastic location. The hot weather was an issue in the bedrooms - three rooms were stifling and as a listed building air conditioning was not allowed to be fitted apparently. Hot night and although a small desk fan provided- but had little effect. Food was lovely at breakfast but not all available- service a little slow. Would stay again in the cooler months.

The hotel was lovely and the food very good. The staff were very helpful, the only downside was the room was far too hot, making it difficult to sleep. The window only opened slightly and the room needed a fan.

White Hart Lincoln, fabulous stay.

Weekend, birthday stay at the White Hart hotel Lincoln, always highly regarded and as I grew up in and around lincoln, the hotel was always a real and rare treat to go to. Lovely area in uphill Lincoln around the Cathedral and Castle and we enjoyed the walking and shopping down and up Lincoln. Great hotel with a long history, great room and en-suite with luxury soaps. Breakfast was included and had plenty of choice from traditional Full English and choice of pastries, fruits and cereals. Fab coffee. Superb weekend away helped by great summer weather and lots of reminiscing of my childhood and young adulthood in the city of Lincoln.

White Hart Lincoln was perfect!

We travelled for one night with our dog we were made very welcome, the room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice and easy we had to sit in the bar area as we had our dog with us and was all so good we loved Lincoln as it was our first time there. We liked it so much we booked for another night. Ideal venue right near shops and the cathedral.

Great hotel - highly recommend

A great overnight stay with family in a lovely hotel. Recently refurbed and in a perfect location sandwiched between the castle and the cathedral, within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Parking is close by (2 minute walk), friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with great staff The only criticism was the temperature of the room….like walking into a sauna!!! We were on the 3rd floor with a 10cm opening in the window and no air conditioning A fan was provided but it just pushed hot air around for 2 nights making sleeping very uncomfortable A Dyson cooling fan would’ve helped I’d would definitely stay again if I had a guarantee to be able to open a window!

Fantastic hotel

Wow!! The White Hart is a super special gem in a historic building. My room and bathroom were large and decorated to a high standard and the bed was fantastic!! Every member of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and you can tell they all enjoy working there. I added breakfast to the room rate and there were so many choices to choose from. If you are a breakfast eater, this is something you should consider. There are also numerous bars in the hotel and the bar staff were fantastic too!! The hotel location is amazing and literally steps from the cathedral and steep hill. Highly recommend The White Hart hotel and I can’t wait to return very soon!!
