Wonderful Cabin

2nd stay

This was our 2nd stay at the cabin. We had a great time, just as we did 2 years ago. Spent mornings and evenings at the river. The wrap around deck is still wonderful to sit on and enjoy the peace and quiet. Hope to be able to visit again.

Private river getaway

Amazing property - heaven on the Blackfoot!. The river is a bit of a walk for the elderly from the house, but once you get down there it’s all day fun. We went swimming, fished, tubed, even kayaked all the way to town (very sporty with lots of log jams, not for the novice). Overall a great experience, would highly recommend and do again.

True Montana Experience

To start with everything was perfect, from the property/cabin to the town and surrounding areas! We enjoyed walking around the property, and over to the river to cool off and rock hound. With plenty of trails nearby, we enjoyed our time exploring what the area all has to offer. Being at a place like this just doesn’t feel real and no amount of pictures/videos, which we took many of, could ever do justice. Time doesn’t exist when you’re in a place like this, and we thoroughly enjoyed the true disconnect. We can not wait to book again!

Outstanding

Better than expected, and our expectations were pretty high. The house is beautiful and maintained very well. I could sit on that deck all day for the rest of my life and stare at those mountains. Really serene off the grid location. Master bed was super comfortable- forgot to ask what the sheets were because they were very comfortable.

Montana getaway

The property is amazing. Fun fishing on site, peaceful, quiet - the perfect vacation getaway. Perfect location for a base to hit the Missouri, Helena, Missoula and fish up and down the Blackfoot. House is immaculate with amenities needed. Wrap around porch lets you enjoy the mornings and nights with beautiful scenery and views. Highly recommend this property.

Shipmates reunion

Absolutely perfect log home, secluded with majestic views from full length covered deck, perfect for bbq and dinner with a Mountain View. Great fishing right from the cabin! True pride of ownership and attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the decor. Nothing is more welcome after a long day on the river than a whiskey rocks while soaking in the hot tub! Can’t wait to stay here again and include the wives, a perfect setting for 2 or 3 couples to enjoy a romantic weekend. Adam was great with a personal call to relay detailed directions to prevent google maps from sabotaging our arrival time. Thank you Adam! Will be booking again soon.

No photos or words can do this place justice. It's probably the only instance in our many travels where the lodging and property FAR surpassed any photo. If anyone ever gives this place less than 5 stars, they need a mental evaluation. Book this place NOW!!

Blackfoot River

If you like seclusion from others and the outdoors this place is great. You can only see one house from the porch but it’s a pretty good distance away. The kids loved the swings and the hot tub that was there. There’s also a place to play horseshoes. You can also see the river from the house and it’s a short walk and was great for fishing. Overall we really enjoyed the property.

Great cabin getaway

Beautiful cabin on the Blackfoot River. Great access to fishing for the kids. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, then this is the place for you. The views and tranquility alone are worth the price!

Few days in early October at the Log Home on the Blackfoot River

Great place. Quiet, peaceful, scenic. Lots of wildlife. Hot tub was relaxing. Beds were very comfortable. Only downside for this time of year: river was so low it almost didn't exist. Was thinking/hoping it would be fishable there on the property. We did find good fishing about 30 miles away.

Great Cabin Near Lincoln - private & nicely outfitted

The cabin is located a few miles from the main road on a large farm/ranch with great views of the mountains and great stars at night. No houses close by, so no random light. Very private. Check in was simple with good communication from the owner. House was clean with a large kitchen and dining area. I would recommend staying any time of year.
