This is a well tended home, not just a rental! We are three generations and the floorplan worked well with multiple living spaces inside and out. A large screened porch opens to the lovely private backyard with patio and new outdoor shower/dressing room. The kitchen is truly fully equipped and location is just a block from Lloyd's Grocery. Bike paths, playgrounds, the Saturday Farmers Market and the library are equally handy. Highly recommend.

Excellent property

Host was top notch, very friendly and accommodating! Pictures of the property don’t do it justice, very spacious. Excellent location in relation to the beach, restaurants and shops. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the Lewes area.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous time at this property and really loved our stay. The layout was wonderful, location was excellent, and communication with the owner was seamless. We loved staying here and would be delighted to return someday. Really excellent location for going into town and the beaches, and plenty of space both indoors and outdoors at the house to relax.

Perfect house

This house was perfect. It had a great layout that provided open space for us to all gather and private spaces when people wanted their own space. It was very clean with lots of nice decorating touches and had a well equipped kitchen. The locations was close enough to town that you could walk, Lloyd’s was only around the corner and met all of our grocery needs and the bike path was just a couple of blocks away. There was a Farmer’s market across the street on Saturday and had baked goods (even gluten free options), produce, meats and seafood. Owner was very responsive to emails. This house is overall very comfortable and we had a great stay.

A lovely house!

We enjoyed this house very much. The screened porch was where we spent the majority of our time from breakfast through afternoon relax time, then dinner and story time with the baby. I've always loved outdoor showers and this one was wonderful! The water filtration system was great for drinking, cooking and washing. We found everything to be comfortable and so easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely home.

PERFECT

Our stay at Las Lewes was utterly perfect. The house was even nicer than we expected. We were two families with children staying together, and there was ample space for us all to relax and spread out, and we had everything we needed. The decor was exceedingly tasteful, and the grounds and house plants were lovely. I spent a fair amount of time admiring it all. The beds and linens were decidedly comfortable. And the location was quiet and yet very close to everything -- we rented bikes and were able to travel in and around town with ease.

Great Lewes Stay!

Renee’s lovely home is perfectly located to take advantage of an easy and fun beach vacation in Lewes. Groceries were a quick get at nearby Lloyd’s and the farmer’s market a short walk away provided our fresh produce for the week. We rented bikes from Seagreen’s so the teens could bike to the beach and downtown all week, and we enjoyed many local eateries, including Honey’s, Taste of Italy, and Matt’s Fish Camp. When we wanted to cook in, there was a nice new grill at our disposal and a well-appointed kitchen. Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements and made good use of the common areas for conversation, puzzling, baseball games and movies, and board games. We had a bit of a problem with the AC because of a heat wave, but Renee went above and beyond to respond and resolve the issue. Great experience, wonderful host, beautiful home.

A long weekend in a beautiful home

The photos of the home do not do it justice. It is spacious, light-filled, cozy, beautifully (and comfortably) appointed, and with plenty of spaces to come together or to find some privacy. It was perfect for our family. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Coming back from the beach, town, or a walk on the trails felt like coming home.

Beautiful Lewes home

Every summer we rent a house on the eastern coast with our close friends. This was our first time at the Delaware Beaches and we had a blast. The house was by far, the most immaculate, beuatifully decorated, and well stocked one we have stayed in. Renee was a wonderful host, so responsive. We had a little trouble with the A/C and she had someone out to the house within an hour. The beds and linens are of highest quality and the kitchen is equiped with every appliance and tool a gourmet cook could need. We had 4 adults and 6 kids with plenty of room to sleep and hang out in the evenings. We would LOVE to stay here again. Thank you for such an amazing week!

Gem in Lewes

We took a leap of faith renting from a property owner who was new to VRBO. There were no reviews of this property, but from the start the owner was honest, communicative. and very reliable. This property is exactly how it was described. It is well maintained , very clean and in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The owner clearly loves her home and puts a lot of care into it! We had a wonderful stay at Las Lewes and would highly recommend this property to other families. We brought our bikes with us and used them regularly to ride into town and to the beach. The house is very convenient to the bike path which made it easy to get around. We hope another family can enjoy this home as much as we did! Perfect stay!!

Excellent house! Central location

This was a beautiful home; beautifully decorated, beds were extremely comfortable and everything was clean and well taken care of. Our family loved eating in the screened in porch but we also had dinner in the more formal indoor dining area a couple nights. Two tv areas for families, well stocked kitchen; loved the cocktail glass collection! I could go on. New outdoor shower was fantastic! Additionally 1 mile walk from the beach and bike trails and a 10 minute drive to cape henlopen. Lots of restaurants and small shops in the small downtown just down the road. The kids loved the ice cream shop 2 dips ice-cream on the main road. Hosts are responsive, kind and were all around lovely! You can tell they really care about their guests enjoying their home as much they do!
