For starters I paid £220 a night for this hotel, a massively overinflated price. The room itself was so rundown and tired so absolutely not worth the price. To add to my issues my neighbours were unbelievably selfish and loud. They played music full blast late at night and were shouting. This isn’t the fault of the hotel however their response to dealing with them wasn’t great. They refused to move me until I pushed for the second night. Surely with rowdy guests if they ignore orders to quieten

The card reader on the door was faulty so it took many attempts to open the room door each time we needed to re-enter. This was happening to multiple other rooms as well and the people in the next room were sitting in the hallway because they couldn't get in. This happening was inconvenient enough but didn't feel safe late at night. There was also black mold in the shower. Not a very nice experience for the price.

One memeber of staff on check in creating queues. Bed was the smallest double I have ever seen. Shower gel was difficult to get from the container. Hairdryer was plugged in and when switching on it crackled and died. This could have been very dangerous. Key card would not work on the second night. View from the window in thw room amazing!

The rooms are very tired and in desperate need of a refresh, think peeling paint, and holes covered in an entirely different shade of putty to the paint. Our bathroom was pretty disgusting, with marks (looking like wee splashback) all over the wall by the toilet, including around the toilet roll holder, and back of the door. The bathroom door HAD to be fully closed, otherwise you got smacked in the face with it if you were sitting on the toilet.
