The Blue "Hearst" Suite was such a treat. Loved the historic decor throughout. Bob's welcome & special attention was so much fun - and interesting. We biked a chunk of the Mickelson Trail early the next morning, and then came back to enjoy a delicious meal in the wonderfully eclectic Saloon/Restaurant. One of the more memorable times in our wanderings in the Black Hills.

We decided while visiting Deadwood to try out a different place to stay, mostly due to cost of other rooms in the area. I was honestly pleasantly surprised with this find. We checked in with Bob, who provided us a tour and background of the saloon. I was very intrigued with the history! Bob lead us upstairs to our room and it was the cutest little place. Bed was comfortable, everything e was very clean and loved the option of the full kitchen. That was available for our use. I will definitely stay here again if in the area and highly recommend. You do have to go up a flight of stairs for the room so I might be cautious if I was disabled as I don't believe there is any other way to get up to the rooms. Over all a fantastic stay and so happy we vered off our usual chain hotels to give them gem a try!
