A really nice luxury hotel that's inexpensive off-season. The staff are excellent. Rooms don't have air conditioning and it takes much longer than expected to cool the room with a fan in summer. It took until about 11:30 PM for my stay. A less cheap fan would have helped. It's quiet at night so open windows are fine. Everything was clean and in good condition. I was unable to use the pool area due to unexpected service being needed.

The property is surrounded by the beautiful nature. We loved the views from our balcony. We loved our room and the staff was very nice. Another cool thing was there is walking distance village that has restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back to Olympics valley in the near future

Poor After Hours Process

I am certain that if you stay and interact with staff during business hours, you will have a wonderful stay. If you have the bad luck of being delayed due to weather, and having a late check in, do not expect good things. I arrived at 2145 only to find the front desk closed with a number posted for after hours check in. I called it multiple times and the line went to voicemail where the inbox was full. I was preparing to sleep in my car for the night (in a snow storm) when an employee walked by to go to one of the janitorial closets. He was able to get me checked in after some time. I am disappointed the front desk staff didnt have the forsight to know there is a pending reservation that has not checked in and called, but even more so that before they left they didnt verify the after hours process was actually working. After I checked out I did call the next day to see if anyone actually answered the after hours number. It worked this time, which is why my review went from 1 star to 3. Still disappointed overall, will likely not return.

This property worked very well with our meetings that we were having in the Olympic Valley Lodge. Very close to the ski resort area which also was a great benefit for our playtime during the day.
