We can not say enough about this house. (a home) From the moment we walked in and until our fianl day everything was perfect. This home comes with everything and so beautfully kept. John the host was amazing. We honestly were so amazed and can not wait to rent next summer!!!!BEAUTIFUL Thank you John and family!!!!

Only superlatives can describe the house and the service. Beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you could want. Amazing game room in basement was a super bonus for my grandchildren and entire family. John the owner was super nice and responsive to all our requests. Highly recommended!

Mountain life

Our vacation was great!! Plenty to do with all the amenities that are offered. John responded quickly anytime I needed assistance. There was even 2 turkeys hanging out in the yard to keep us company. Overall I recommend John’s house and the hideout to anyone who like “the mountain life”. Thanks again!!

The Hideout

From start to finish (and after) John was responsive and helpful throughout. I was in a unique position as I rented the same house the year before but with a different owner. John turned the house a complete 180. It had the vibe of a B and B with snacks left for us, complimentary sundries in the bathroom and all the right updates. There were ZERO supplies the year before, not even frigging TP. John's pride as a homeowner and host is obvious throughout his home. If you're looking at this listing, just book it. You will not be disappointed. We had 6 ppl from ages 8-75 and everyone had a good time. Even my godparents visited for a couple of days and the process was easy and without any problem. I can't say enough good things about this listing. John has set the bar really high , I'm worried any other experience on VRBO will be a let down.

Wonderful home!

We could not ask for anything more in this house nor in the host, John! What an amazing sense of comfort and home! Immaculate and spacious rooms with a sectional in the living room that can seat all. We are all looking forward to another stay next summer!

Winter Getaway

We had the most amazing week staying at Lake Ariel. This house was immaculate and beautifully decorated for the holiday season…it was just perfect for our family of 5. John was super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be returning soon!
