Great service. However, room was musty & dated.

Exceptionally, Wonderful Service. However, room was dated. Musty smell in room. Bed was really uncomfortable. No cups for bathroom. No nose tissue. Air condition wasn’t working properly. I slept with window/door opened because I was concerned about carbon dioxide from air conditioner.

Loved our stay!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The room was clean. The location is perfect, right in the center of old town and close to the river. Loved our stay. The bed was very firm, could feel the ribs of the mattress. Kind of hard on the back after a long day walking.

Old hotel with excellent upkeep. The tile in the bathroom was so beautiful. Informed staff and the area was so close to amazing dining and shopping in medieval streets.

Excellent central value hotel!

Another very enjoyable stay at the Lagosmar! Staff all very friendly, professional and welcoming in this central, little hotel. Minutes walk from everywhere, the marina, the beaches, the train & bus stations and dozens of restaurants in this charming town. An older building but well maintained and very good value. Thank you again for your hospitality! Hopefully, return next year!

Amazing Staff

Patricia at the front desk was amazing she was incredibly helpful this woman deserves a raise. I fell off the bike I rented and when I got back to the hotel to relax she offered to clean my wounds she went and got iodine and ice very kind compassionate person that’s who you want working for you. The young man with the glasses was also very kind and helpful. Lovely stay ty will definitely come back

Second time staying here, this time our double bed was two tired single beds pushed together. We managed but it wasn’t great. We also paid a little more for the bigger room and balcony but we assumed it would have the top floor with better view like before but instead we had a balcony backed on to others on the ground floor facing a brick wall with no morning sunlight which we were hoping for. We will certainly come back again but just confirm our room before we do so.

This is a nice older property that has been meticulously kept with a few decor updates. Staff are lovey and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are decent size. Too bad the bed was firm as a board, there is no mini fridge or working safe in the room. The coffee/tea wasn’t replenished after the first day. Also, they really need to accommodate today’s traveller with USB or at least some plug ins for recharging devices. It’s a perfect location in Lagos so need need for a car! You can walk to all the wonderful restaurants and shops as well as marina, bus and train stations easily. It was a very pleasant 3 nights.
