It was on a great location. Near the train station and other amenities. If you are to stay here, stay in the premium floors and not the Kyoto style floors the beds are very hard and the room needs some upgrade. Other than that it was a good hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located near Kyoto JR Station and also offers a great shuttle bus service. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. The interior has a nice Japanese-style design, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The location is also very convenient with many shops nearby. Even without the shuttle bus, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to Kyoto Station, and there are several convenience stores along the way. Overall, this hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Kyoto’s attractions.

Wonderful staff and a lovely stay. Breakfast was fantastic. The only minor negative was that the gym was quite basic, but the pool was quite nice.

The revolving rooftop restaurant offered spectacular views at breakfast, which was great. The Kyoto floor room was fabulous. Close to Kyoto station, which was very convenient. Staff very helpful. Great hotel. Fantastic stay.

A nice hotel with free shuttle to Kyoto station.

Nice location with frequent shuttle bus to kyoto station (until 7 pm). The room is good and breakfast excellent. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Access to the swimming pool is not free and extremely expensive.

Expedia advertises rooms that sleep 4. Spent over an hour at check in making sure I got the room that sleeps 4 as advertised. Ended up getting told to pay an extra 160 CAD which was refused as I had already payed for a room that sleeps 4. Ended up with a room that had 2 twin beds. Will not be going back. If you are booking make sure to book a room that advertises “sleeps 6” if you are trying to have 3-4 people sleep.
