Ok if you’re looking for a resort with a kids club

We stayed in the Family Lagoon Pool Access for 3 nights at the beginning of our 12 night stay in Bali. Pro’s - close to the airport so a quick transfer after a late flight - good pool facilities - close to lots of shops and restaurants. It’s a nice walk along the ocean wallway to Kuta beach - convenient with breakfast included in our room - nice kids touches like a colouring book, soft toy and tray when we arrived - kids club options but we never used them - pool room was great, the kids spent most of the time in the lagoon outside our room which was mostly empty. Much nicer than the main pool areas. Con’s - our room was really damp; feeling and smell. After our first room clean they put a dehumidifier in there (we didn’t ask for it) - room cleaning was very basic/ almost non existent. They gave us some new room towels, but never changed the pool towels despite them being in a pile on the floor for 2 days - we had dinner at the buffet one night which I wouldn’t recommend. Around $50aud for a very basic buffet, not worth it - paying up front for the resort credit was weird, and then being contacted as soon as we’d spent it all. It didn’t seem to be well set up for just paying your bill upon check out Overall fine experience for the beginning of our trip, but I wouldn’t go back. The room rate was really high to cover the services like kids club but we didn’t see the value in it.

We love Bali Dynasty as the kids club is exceptional & we are repeat guests. Air con in top floor room not strong enough. On the coolest setting it was still too hot. Ordering coffees at breakfast took way too long, service not up to scratch. Breakfast buffet still good but quality may have declined.

Really good resort for families, we have 3 kids are they were very happy with the multiple pools and water features. The only thing that could have been better was the food, it was ok but going out and about we found much tastier and cost effective options.

It was a great stay with lots of entertainment for the kids. Located close to waterbomb park so easily walkable. Excellent breakfast and other meal options even at the pool the food was great.

The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit rundown. The kids club closes too often and kids are forced to leave, which resulted in alot of meltdowns. It's great they want to encourage kids to join activities outside but should have an option for kids to remain inside if they don't want to engage in those activities. Staff also opened kids club late and closed early, so kids on some days would get 45 mins in kids club and had to leave again. The corridors were also loud early hours of the morning and the rooms smelt of mould, despite requesting a dehumidifier.

Staff are amazing and the food was great. Facilities are good. My only complaint is that it was FULL of kids! Yes I know it’s a family resort but we couldn’t get close to the pool as every chair was taken and the pool was seething with kids (it’s not even school holidays!) and once in our room all you can hear are screaming kids constantly until late at night. Meals were incredibly loud as it was packed. Expect AU $30 each for meals. The little shop is great and they have an evening market. It is the perfect resort for small children and can’t fault the staff.
