Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't indulge in the pool so I cannot speak to that. The one thing that I didn't like was the breakfast. Most hotels offer complimentary breakfast, and HP 8 degrees had an attached cafe where breakfast was discounted for guests, but not complimentary.

Great and prompt service. Convenient with bus stop to main tourist sites just downstairs. Walkable to mtr station. Local restaurants nearby and Kai Tak shopping mall just 10mins walk away. Will definitely stay here again when we're back.

Good size room at a competitive price. The staff are polite and helpful. There are two USB port in the room, but not speed charge. The location is not very convenient. Might not be appropriate for first time tourist. There's a shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. The Deco is very mainland China small town. Specially the faucet was so difficult to control the temperature.

This was the most disgusting hotel we stayed at in Asia across 3 months. On our first day we discovered a huge clump of hair/pubic hair in the bath which was not draining, and they moved us to a different room. On our last day as we checked the room we found a used condom underneath the bed, which I actually touched. This is a huge health risk due to bodily fluids and infection risk, and will be reported to the relevant authorities. The hotel tried to deal with this with an apology only and a free one night stay, despite the fact we were checking out and told them right away that we will not return, which is an insult. Only Expedia managed to get us some money back. Never again. We also found some of the staff very rude. The lifeguard shouted at a woman one day as she tried to avoid the ridiculously designed waterfall above the entry to the pool area. The staff member Phoebe on reception was also incredibly patronising, sarcastic and rude to me when I spoke to her one day, although when she found out I was a hotel guest she changed her attitude but the damage was already done. We were in a studio room which is advertised with kitchen facilities, however there was not one cooking utensil, pan, plate or anything, which defeats the point. The only staff member we thought was helpful was the assistant manager at reception, who tried her best but was let down by other staff. Location is bad. It’s a residential area which is a 10 min walk to the nearest train station.
