Perfect spot on the South Shore

The property is well located and is a short walk to multiple beaches and resorts. The property looks as nice in person as it does in pictures online, and there is a beautiful view of the mountains from their porch. Despite being near the beach, the area was very quiet. Most nights, the trade winds kept us cool. The one night they did not blow, the bedroom air conditioners worked perfectly. The host was easily accessible even for minor items like a light bulb being out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful getaway

We loved every minute. Plenty of room for our whole family of 5 including 3 preteen and teen boys. There were lots of snorkels and flippers as well as a cooler and chairs for beach days. Really appreciated the very nice washer and dryer. We enjoyed cooking on the bbq just outside the condo. The location is perfect for touring the island and it’s close to Koloa town and Poipu. It’s only about 20 minutes from the airport and you get to go through the tree tunnel to get there. We usually try to get an ocean view when we visit the islands, but the mountain view from the lanai was luscious and definitely rivals any ocean view around. Thanks for such a nice stay.

Great Place and Great Location

Great place to stay in a great location on the island! Close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and activities! The house has everything you need for your stay! Our party of 5 was very comfortable here! Would definitely book here again! The host Sharon is great to work with! I left my wallet in the condo and looked all over for it. Sharon contacted me the day we left to let me know their cleaning service found it! I was very relieved!

Perfect Vacation Condo

We had a great stay at this property. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We were able to watch the sunrise in the morning over the mountain. Close walk to the beaches. Two pools. The one being maybe a 60 second walk down the path. I had the pool to myself many times or there were maybe 3 or 4 others there. Had a minor issue with the sink but Sharon was quick to respond and the issue solved immediately. Condo was clean and had everything we needed from kitchen utensils to beach chairs and even a great book to read. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and spacious for a family of 5.

Perfectly located unit on our favorite part of the Island. Interior was beautiful, clean and spacious. My family of 5 (age 16 and up) felt like there was more than enough room to cook, sleep and simply relax. Our favorite place to hang out was on the huge lanai which had beautiful mountain views! We were walking distance to several beaches and restaurants. There is a closet full of all the beach equipment we needed to enjoy those beach days. We made memories that our family will cherish forever.

Wonderful location and condo

We had a wonderful week and found this condo to have a terrific location for exploring the island. Beautiful easy walk to Brennecke andPoipu beaches. Beautifully manicured grounds at Poipu Kai and easy drive to Grand Hyatt. So much variety. The grandkids- ages 7 and 10 cried when it was time to leave

Kauai Family Trip

Large two bedroom accommodations - excellent location - close proximity to trail that goes through resort to the beach, tennis courts, or the Hyatt Resort. Easy check in with electronic access to make it easier for all members to be able to gain access. We enjoyed the extras - boogey boards, chairs, etc. Pool and barbecue close by. Enjoyed our time.

Beautiful Location!!

I’ve been to Hawaii many times and this has, without a doubt, the most beautiful and peaceful view of any place we’ve stayed!! The location was perfect- close to the best beaches, restaurants and shopping and we walked to some and drove to others. The condo is lovely and has all the cookware you’d need. If I were to make any improvement, it would be to upgrade the sofa bed to a more comfortable bed. The other beds were great! The owner’s are wonderful and the brochure had so much information about the area- it was easy to navigate and to experience it all. I would definitely go back!!!

Great Poipu Location

A comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We loved to walkability to so much. The pool was a nice alternative to the beach on those extra windy days! 3 beds and 2 bathrooms made for a great experience for all of us!

Love this gem!

We truly enjoyed staying at this property! It had close access to the beach, and we spent every morning going for a walk to the beach where we saw seals, turtles and dolphins. The extra amenities really made a difference. The beach chairs and boogie boards were a huge hit! The kitchen was fully stocked and the rooms were spacious. Sharon was communicative and a great host. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Kauai get-away

I always do a great deal of research in selecting a condo/home for us to stay when on vacation. We have rental property that we rent out to guests so I am very particular about certain things. This condo did not disappoint. Sharon provided everything we needed plus extra amenities that made our stay even more special. The communication with her was great! I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Kauai. It is in a perfect location. The walks to the Grand Hyatt to watch the sunsets were very nice. The beach is within walkiing distance as well. We saw lots of sea turtles and seals resting on the beach. So much fun! Very nice restaurants are a quick drive away. We would like to stay here again.

Best Stay and best host ever

Sharon's condo is spacious, modern and perfect for my family of 5. The place is super clean and has everything you need, including 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling gears and a good size cooler. It is very close to the best beaches. On the day before our departure, the maui fire broke out. Sharon reached out to me right away and see if our flight would be impacted. She offered us to stay for free if we need to change our flights. Luckily our flight to the big island wasnt impacted and left on time. Her generosity and thoughfulness is very appreciated. I definitedly will book again when we come back.

Great condo in Poi’pu

We had a family 4 staying at the condo. Plenty of space for all bedrooms are large and roomy. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and tasty breakfast. Deck was large and open on to a grass field. Nice view of the mountains in the morning. They had all of beach gear you could want, snorkeling gear was great saved me $80 from the shop! Beach chairs towels and umbrella. Best food we had on the island was Rum fire in Poipu. Pro tip make all of your dinner reservations before you come over. Open table worked great. Again for the use of you condo we had a great time. Poipu Kai Resort - Dream Retreat

Our stay at Makanui resort in Poipu Kai was perfect. Sharon and David's condo is lovely and conveniently located to Brennecke and Poipu Beaches for boogie/body surfing (10 min walk) or a short drive to Lawai for the best snorkeling. The unit was very roomy and quiet for a family of four with a lanai with gorgeous mountain views. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare breakfasts/lunches (even a rice cooker for spam musubi). The best part all beach supplies were provided including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkel gear and cooler! Everything you need for happy days at the beach! Our family had the best time and we were very comfortable at Makanui condo. I cannot recommend it enough. We hope to visit again soon. Mahalo!
