The location of the property is fantastic, it really is in a prime spot. The unit itself does need some work. Comparing it to other units we've stayed in at Prince Kuhio, it is in desperate need of a facelift. I will say that for the most part, the unit had everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, we did have to buy a few things for our 3 weeks stay, nothing major but things I would assume would be there. For example, the beach chairs provided need replacing, we chose to rent chairs instead.
We were short on hangers in the closet, and we didn't have a whole lot to hang. It comes down to a whole lot of small details that really and truly make a huge impression. I am not fussy, nor do I have high expectations, but someone else might and that's why I am choosing to share my experience, good and bad.
With that being said, we are forever grateful for people who open up their homes to us tourists and give us a place to call home while on island.
Mahalo nui loa for sharing your home with us.
