This home took our breath away! The orientation of it sitting on the south shore almost quite literally on the ocean allowed us to start each day watching the sun rise and end the day enjoying the sun setting.We saw dolphins and whales from the pool!The house has a ton of space and lots of areas to retreat to if guests need some solitude.The kitchen was well stocked with spices and kitchen appliances; we made several large family meals with no hassle. There are two dishwashers so clean up was a breeze. The basement stored lots of water toys , rafts, SUPs, long board, to enjoy in the pool or ocean. Such a nice touch! The cons of this house are few and would be: too many light switches (like 100s!) and decor is a bit dated. The host was very responsive; when the refrigerator wasn't getting cool enough they sent someone out to fix it (only need to be reset) right away. Beautiful home in paradise!

We had the best time at this house. The oceanfront views are spectacular. We saw dolphins leaping a little offshore and flocks of parakeets flying by in the evening. The house was perfect for our group of ten family members who were together to celebrate a birthday. The large kitchen was very well equipped (even had two refrigerators) which worked well for our group. The park next door generated noise a couple of nights, but we also used its sandy beach and swam in its protected cove. This is a very comfortable house and we would be happy to stay here again!

Beautiful home with stunning views

This home is well taken care of. It is on the ocean with a beautiful pool. It would be great for a family with many bedrooms. The air conditioners are located in each bedroom. The one downside is it next to a park and the locals like to play loud music until late. The ocean mostly drowns out that. There was also some confusion with the previous manager and the new manager with both communicating with me during my stay.

Heaven on Earth

Photos don’t do this property justice! It’s SO BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL that you don’t want to leave. It has everything! Comfort, scenery and peace. The view is beyond compare! The rooms have everything you need. This property is close to restaurants, stores and all you may need. Managing company is responsive and available even during off hours. This property is breathtaking and we hope to visit again and again. Mahalo Chela and Brenda! 💐👏👏

Excellent Rental Property

The setting of the house and pool were absolutely spectacular and deserve even more than a 5 star rating. It also makes up for some of the shortcomings that just shouldn't exist in a rental property this expensive, including a lack of some basic supplies, damaged/missing outdoor furnishings and inconsistent responses to maintenance issues. The issue with flys was also annoying though I don't know whether anything could be done about that.

Amazing Location

The location of this house is stunning, and the pool/hot tub combo next to crashing waves was the best part of our stay in the huge, beautiful, clean house. Loved the location next to the public sandy beach next door and the view of Spouting Horn. The only glitch in our stay was that a pool maintenance person arrived and switched off the hot tub at the main panel, and we had to call to have the hot tub turned back on. Otherwise, all was perfect.

Beautiful Home……

The house was amazing. Very beautiful and great attention to detail. The bedrooms had AC but no other rooms in the main house have AC.. Thankfully, the weather/temperatures were mild during our stay but, even though the outside temps were mild, the main living areas were very warm without AC. The management company was easily accessible and responsive. Unfortunately they scheduled last minute, planned hot tub repairs during our stay so we were not able to use it (one of our top/main amenities we look for when choosing a home).

Fabulous location and home

The house was fabulous and in a great location. It was well equipped both in the kitchen and items for the beach and pool. A cove across the street with a sand beach. Was great for paddle boarding and snorkeling. We got to see a number of turtles. Food trucks close by, although hours were very varied. The sounds of the waves breaking right out front was very soothing. Location good for getting to many sites and trails. Only complaint was one bedroom was not air conditioned, although listing said all bedrooms were. Weather cooled down at night so it wasn't to bad. Overall I would go back any day.

Absolute Paradise!

The rental process was very easy. The house is beautiful!! Plenty of room for a large family like ours - we had 10 people stay here. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are a welcome break from the beaches. We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here!

Great place for multi-generational family

Great house, wonderful location, kitchen with everything to cook several full holiday dinners for 10, amazing pool and backyard. Additionally, good sized beach with decent snorkeling steps away (we swam with sea turtles every day). Great communication with the property management team, who took care of an issue quickly

Absolute Perfection

It was one of the most incredible places we’ve stayed! The house was gorgeous and very clean! We loved the pool and hot tub with a gorgeous view of the ocean! It was supplied very well, anything you possibly needed they had! Every bedroom was beautiful with its own bathroom and most had ocean views! We would most definitely rent this property again! Beautiful house

Our recent stay at Paradisio Ho’o Kuma was amazing. It was better than the pictures. There have been updates to the furniture and the swings by the pool are a great addition. There was plenty of room for our family of 10, including 4 kids, 11-6 months. The kids liked their downstairs room with the 4 twin beds. The view from this house was beautiful. Great family memories were made here.

Amazing!!!

I have been renting from VRBO for many years. This property was by far our most amazing ever. The pictures do not do it justice…. It is more beautiful, private and majestic. The waves crash right in front of the property. We didn’t leave the property much, as there was no better view on the island.

Sensational Property

Our home was sensational. The house was stunning and very accommodating for our family of 8. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this would be the one of our best vacations ever and by the end of our stay, we never wanted to leave. The property managers have been very responsive to all of our inquiries and provided excellent service. We will be returning again one day.

Excellent stay on South Shore in Kauai

This property has everything we wanted for a great family vacation. The house is in excellent condition, the location was great and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The pool was perfect for family volleyball games and the swinging lounge chairs looking over the ocean were fantastic.

Awesome Vacation Rental

The house worked perfectly for our 2 families (9 people total). It's a great house, close by to everything we wanted to do. The one suggestion I'd have is to take some new/additional photos of the interior of the house as I believe that the photos don't do the house justice. While I was expecting a very nice house based on the photos, I was pleasantly surprised about how the house looks in person and it was much larger than I was expecting.
