Relaxing Stay

I had a very relaxing stay at Fuji Onsen Resort and would definitely consider staying here again if I was in the area. The hotel is close to Fuji Q Highland bus and train station as well as walking distance from Kawaguchiko station which connects you to other parts of the area and beyond. I loved the onsen facilities at the hotel and thought the area was clean and well organised. Breakfast buffet was lovely and restaurant has great views of Mount Fuji.

Hotel was nice enough, had a fixed temperature floor of 23 degrees C we could not change below. Also the pictures online of the views are misleading. Staff was very nice and easy to work with

We stayed in the mt Fuji room and it was alright. It had a great view even if was obstructed a bit with poles/ roller coaster rides. I did notice some areas of the room were dusty and deserved more attention. The bathroom smelled a little so we had to keep the vent on even when we left the room to help with the smell. Other than that the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The buffet dinner cost 6,050 yen per pax and the spread is very limited. Do not try and you are better off eating outside.

The property was just what we needed. Close to all public transport routes, about a 15 minute walk from the express highway bus terminal from Tokyo. The bed was hard and felt really small and the air conditioning could really only be full blast and freezing cold or you had to turn it off…there was no in between.
