The building itself is well structured, interior is a bit dated like still in 90’. The bed is really bunk bed shows its age. I have a button bed next to wall which is not much space for my belongings to store. I guess this is more for backpacker without luggage no elevator is something you need to be aware of. No washroom in the room floor is an experience have to keep in mind don’t drink water before bed.

Nice and clean location

Overall, I am happy with the stay. Facilities were clean and modernised. Staff was friendly and spoke English which was helpful.

Friendly and hardworking staff, comfortable beds, practical kitchen, and so much space to move around in, compared with the more crowded hostels of Kyoto and Osaka... a great place to base yourself for exploring the Kansai region... I also liked the Japanese-style communal shower room (for men)

Beware there is a 11pm curfew it does say to inform them if you are going to be later but it seemed to much effort, also Google maps will take you to a sister property with the same name (not east) and it does not know about this one, so be careful about where you end up especially as they don't open the front door till 16:00. This one provides good facilities but unlike every other hostel / backpackers I have been too they don't supply basics like a tea or coffee.

良い宿でした

ゆっくり出来ました。周辺も静かな所で良かったです。ドミトリーは同室者が常識を弁えてるか、どうかに掛かっていると思いますが持参した耳栓と常識のある人達でゆっくり寝られました。
