Pleasant stay

The hotel was clean and quiet. They also made sure that the requests I made for certain things I needed to enjoy my stay were all taken care of. All in all a great place to stay if you're in the Kingston area.

The property has been newly renovated, so the visual aesthetic is good. The building itself should have been repaired prior to the renovation because you can hear every footstep, door closure, voice, and tv surrounding your room (at least that was the case with room 204). I use a White noise machine and it still sounded like elephants all around up until 1am, and starting again at 6am. This was not caused by rowdy guests running the halls, but just guests existing in their rooms. Do not stay here if the point is to get rest. I was literally only there from 10pm -10am as my son had a hockey game in the area, and we both were exhausted the next day. We stay in tons of hotels all over Ontario, but nothing has ever been as noisy as this, even with hockey teams running all over the place (note: we were not part of a team stay, just the two of us)

The ceiling/floors were VERY creaky. Couldnt sleep with anyone upstairs moving or walking. The showers upstairs sounded like a torrential rain storm.
