Second time we stayed there. Wasn’t as good as the first as our room wasn’t cleaned well when we got there. Some renovations in the wine bar were a little loud at times. Otherwise a pleasant stay and comfortable.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. Staff was super helpful in helping me figure out late check-in after being stuck behind a major accident. The room was well-appointed, spotless, and cozy. I loved the wood-fired sauna and breakfast was great. Thanks for such a great stay!

Great Hotel.... but.

Great hotel and staff. Lack of elevator should be disclosed. Room was way too hot. Staff advised to run air conditioning in the middle of winter! TV was improperly configured requiring three visits to the front desk. Front door latch was improperly installed requiring a tug of war to open. Great breakfast but mediocre dinner at on site restaurant. Nice sauna and public hang out places. Free snacks. Just 2 parking places.

A very nice little boutique hotel, where attention to detail in the rooms and common areas is easily seen. Since last there, they have opened a nice “wine bar” on the lower level that serves good quality but reasonably priced food and wines.

This was our first visit to The Larix. We felt welcome immediately. The staff were all great. The breakfast surpassed expectations. We will come back on a day that the restaurant is open for dinner! Might just be our new "go to" hotel when visiting Kimberley. Thank you for the hospitality.
